This page is for my sister... Allison... there is so much to say about her. She was beautiful from the get go... (OK.. so she was a little tubby when we were little!! :) ) but of course out grew her baby fat and blossomed into a beautiful woman!! We got along as typical sisters... with her being the elder of us, I was the one that usually got beat up and blamed for getting into "her stuff" (It could have been Marc that got into her makeup!!!)
Our lives changed so much when mom had her first bout of cancer. We were all still young but grew up so fast. It was that "shock" of the word "cancer" that made us mature faster than the average child. We had a bond that most families do not experience ever in their lives... and for this I'm very grateful!! She was the one that I had to turn to as my mom and dad when our parents passed away. We had become confidants to each other as well as best friends. Neither of us would do anything without consulting the other first.
She was by my side for the births of my children (pushing my ex-husband out of the way, so she could SEE!!!!) LOL :) :) Allison did have a way of being pushy and having things "her way" you see, she was the middle child... so of course I was spoiled being the youngest and Marc was able to get away with whatever he wanted because he was the oldest. Well, "her way" usually was the right way and she had this incredible way of knowing just what it was that she wanted.
Unfortunately, she never had any children so she was a second "mommy" to mine, she loved them as if they were her own. You know, she made one "COOL" Mom!!! :) :) I miss her more and more every day... and will never forget the day that she was called home... BUT... she went home with Mom and Dad (probably Dragging them off to Vegas First though!!!) I know she is safe and watching down on me and my loved ones...
I just wish I could pick up the phone one last time to tell her that I love her!!!
I miss you Allison...
God's Brand New Angel~
God looked down on His children, and carressed the heads of each one... A gentle smile formed on His lips, and tears glistened in His eyes... It was time to call a child home to the sun... A very hard choice for one so wise~ For in the wake of calling one into His arms.... Comes the heartbreaking grief, the saddness, and the tears .... He knows He has to leave the earthly ones with empty arms... And give them an understanding fear~ But God gave them a special gift instead... A brand new Angel to guide thier way.... To feed all the Peace that there is to be fed... To hold their hand on that fateful day~ And to shower them with an undying love.... For God's newest Angel, this is an easy task to do.... For God's Newest Angel has not left us, they are in the Heaven above.... Watching, Loving, Guiding YOU!
