Name: Albert Jr. (you don't need to know the rest).
Birthdate: December 13, 1974 (guess what...it was a Friday). I was also born on my father's birthday. So I am not a junior just because of arrogance on the part of parents [or, the inability to make up a weird one (or, the lack of finding a good name)]. I mean, really, if your kid was born on your birthday, what would you name the kid?
Age: 25 (for those who can't count).
Height: 5'5.5" (short).
Weight: Too Much.
Eyes: Brown.
Hair: Black.
Nationality: American, born and raised, to the death, and beyond.
Pets: I have three pets currently. Two cats and a dog. For those not sharp on math, that's a total of three. My dog, Guy, is an old mutt, German shepherd mix. He's almost 12 years old. Come October 10th, 2000.... And then I have my cats, Mine and Raistlin. Mine is a black cat with sharp claws. My mother will try to tell you that she doesn't purr, or make any other noises at all. But she always purrs for me. Raistlin, whom I obvioulsy named after one of my favorite characters from my favorite books, is an orange tabby. He's so cute. Annoying, but cute. Let's see, my last two cats, who were around when Guy was still a puppy, were complete opposites. Rat, or Ratty (she looked like a rat; small, thin head, small shoulders, and she only got wider the rest of the way), was as mellow as they come. And she was everyone's friend. Cindy, on the other hand, was the Spawn of Satan. That cat hated everything and everyone, with a few exceptions: my mom, my brother, Ratty, Guy, and me. She was a good mom, though. She would attack just about anything that got too close to her and her kittens. Mostly people, because we were the only things stupid enough to approach her. I remember thinking that my dog was going to die once, because I opened the backdoor to let him in and he made a beeline straight for the box with Cindy and the kittens. So there he went, running right for the box. When he got there, he quickly stuck his head right in the box to look at the kittens. It was at that point I was sure his head would roll. But, to my amazement, she allowed him to inspect her kittens. It was so cute. Of course, she didn't just let him come right in. She had actually started to lunge at whatever she knew was coming into the box. But she realized who it was real quick and left him alone. I was impressed. Let's see, before those two, were Gizmo and Nanny. They were cool cats, too. Other than them, there were "community pets." You know, the pets that didn't really have a master. They liked everybody. But I'll save them for another time.
Since Birth: Born in West Covina; moved to Baldwin Park for most of my pre-teen years; moved to Azusa for a year; moved to West Covina; joined the Marines and stationed at Camp Pendleton for two and a half years; then stationed in Okinawa for one year; got out, lived in West Covina; moved to Fontana; now living in Rancho Cucamonga; still currently looking for something closer to work in Orange.
Schooling Prior to the Corps: I don't remember where I went for kindergarten; went to Pleasant View Elementary for the 1st through 3rd grades; went to Paramount for the 4th through 6th; then to Hollencrest for the 7th grade; Edgewood Middle School for the 8th; and, finally, West Covina High School to finish through the 12th.
Band: I first started playing a musical instrument in the second grade. It was the violin. Of course, my brother, the older one, would say it wasn't playing. Then, after many years of peaceful silence, I played the trumpet in the 7th grade. And, I had found my love. Music was already in my blood, both parents could sing very well; they sounded even better together. My father, a baritone, with a strange sense of humor that I have inherited, taught both my brother and myself to love music. And to the amazement of most people, it started with Bugs Bunny cartoons. My father always explained, into detail, what was going on in shows we would watch with him. Some might say he took the fun out of stuff, but we didn't think so. Anyway, he told us about music, as did my mother, and we both now love classical music, along with a lot of the weird stuff that's out now. Well, I played the trumpet all through high school, I learned to play the French horn during my jumior year. Then I learned to play the tuba and baritone during my senior year. Band is also where I met all my true, good friends. Now, I only play the trumpet when I really have nothing better to do. I think I had more fun when there were a whole bunch of us playing together.
The Friends: I guess I will start off with Orlando. It's easy to start with him because he seemed to leave the strangest memories of him wherever he went. Yes, memories of the Jolly Green Jammer, the Black Tower of Power, and the shoulder-length rubber gloves. Poor cattle. Next we'll go to Chris. Chris moved up north, is married, has a couple of kids, and has a great wife. Hi Jen! And then Oscar. My fondest memory of Oscar was during our 8th grade Washington D.C. trip. One night, one of his roommates had a bad fit of sleepwalking and commenced to knocking the stuffing out of his roomies, and the room. You guys broke the bed. Hehe. Was that Rob who did that? Then there is Patty. Patty is not to be confused with "Polka Dot" Patty. No, this Patty always seemed to think she could beat me at basketball, one on one. Hey, Patty, I can still kick your butt! Then, there's Kirk. Kirk joined the Marines and is now married with a kid on the way. Go Kirk! And his sister Brandy. The fiery red-head with the hernia. Hey Brandy, I remember: kind...gentle...and caring. And Phillip "Ogre" LastName. It was our circle (or triangle, as it was) of Phil, Orlando, and myself who had a blast in Mr. Okura's junior english class. He would have separated us, but we were all getting A's and we never cheated. So he decided it would be best just to leave us together. And then there is Dolly. She wasn't actually a good friend. But a friend. She is now known as Papillon in the porno industry. Go Dolly!! And that's it for now. I'll add the rest of you later. Be patient!!!
Places I've Been: Well, in no particular order, I've been to Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Nevada, Texas, Washington, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Louisiana, Georgia, Hawaii, Alaska (4 hours of daylight), Guam, Japan, Okinawa, Thailand, Malaysia, Phillipines, Indonesia, Singapore and Australia, and Iwo Jima. Some of the states and countries I've been to more than once. Some more than twice, and some, more than three times, even.
Where I'll be in 10 Years: Well, I believe that in 10 years, you will see my face on television. Now, I'm not saying that I'll be a TV star or anything, but I will be on TV. Whether as a cutsey little piece about some weirdo, or as an axe-wielding psychopath trying to cry out for help. But who really knows? Only the Big Guy.
