03/31/98. . .'CREED' my own prison

I love all kinds of music. Depending on my mood, my friends freak at the stuff I listen to.

On this date of 07/28/97 my 6 disk CD player has 1. OZZY, 2. Joan Jett, 3. Travis Tritt, 4. Dennis DeYoung, 5. Sublime, and 6. Tony Bennett. So, I am a man of many moods!(& mystery) hehe...

When I was a kid, my big brothers Paul ( 9 yrs older ) & Tony ( 8 yrs older ) had me listening to the great 70's bands like Aerosmith & Queen.

When I hit ten, I listened to country. I even sang along on a tape recorder to Kenny Rogers' 'Tennessee Bottle' & 'She Believes in Me'. I still have those tapes (yuck). I sound like a chipmunk.

When I hit twelve & thirteen...Oh boy... Sex, Drugs & 'ROCK n ROLL'!!! This time in my life is what has helped me grow into the man I am today. I went through alot of crap. I dumped alot of it on others also.(sorry)Hey! Maybe I helped them grow into stronger adults as well.(hey.I can hope) I learned about friendship, survival, addiction, sex, family, and so many other things. The only problem was that I really didn't learn & grow from these things until I had done a lot of bad things.(sorry Mom) Guess what...I'm a better person because of it.(i was VERY lucky) I've learned much in my life. I've learned that you can take good & bad from just about anything. You have to make the decision on what to discard. I'm sure that you have heard the expression "live & learn". Well, I believe it!!(I've lived alot)

I'm glad that I experienced all the crap that I have. That crap is what made me 'ME'. I'm happy with the man that I have become! I hope you do too.

That's enough of my sermon. Now on to the music. These following soloists and bands really created songs and emotions that I could, and can relate to. I've checked out a lot of sites on musicians, and these are my favorites, most rockin sites. I would love to have a link to all of my favorites, but there are just too many that I love, and a lot of their sites totally suck!
