Hello! I am glad that someone thought of this website, it's a great idea. Well, I left Saudi right after the GULF WAR..to come to New York..I made some of the best friends during the years that I was in Dhahran Academy..I would love to get in touch with some of my old friends...Well, a weird thing happened when I came to N.Y. I met Aurangzaib Khan a.k.a. "Crazy AZ"..he was a drummer in Dhahran Academy...and we are getting married next month!!! We always talk about the fun times and share crazy stories about this school, we plan to visit soon, but, I hear that it has changed alot. SO if anyone recognizes me or AZ Please mail us!

Off the top of my head, Joe Rexrode, Melissa Ritchie, Wayne from Canada, Steve Losner, Gabe, Michelle Villamare, Sung, Joe from Mass, Molly Lynch, Sean rom French class, Dylan Lundy, Melissa with red hair from NJ, Sheila, Piper(I remembered more than I thought) and so many more. The dances and rollerskating parties are memories I can't forget. I'm glad this site can bring together some old friends. It was some of the most interesting years of my life that I will never forget and only the people who shared the same experience can understand.

I lived in Saudi from 81-85, My Father worked for Al-Qhatani Pipe Coating Services. I have lost contact with alot of childhood friends and it would be nice to hear from anyone that I knew. I often think about visiting but there has been alot of changes si ce 1985.

Hello to all!! I just want to say that it is about time somebody thought of this web site, it is a great idea. I have already seen a lot of familiar names. I too have been looking for a few of my old friends but I have been fortunate to keep in touch with a lot of them, we see each other every couple of years. Dhahran Academy was the best...especially during the 80's! Do these names sound familiar to anyone? Karen and Randa Saadeh, Eda Pinar, Bhakbhume Tanta-Nanta , Eladio Caritos, Sana Malik. I've kept i touch with most of these people and the truth of the matter is that none of them have really changed that much every one is pretty much the same, cool and crazy, yet calm and collective . We do talk a lot about the good old times...Mrs. Mirza's 6th grade class..she was awesome.."Rock On" the dances at the Gym, Al Zahra, Al Bustan, swimming ,bowling, dancing, volleyball, track and field, Mr. and Mrs. Stephens and the France trip and of course our parties in Al Zahra, Al Rashaid, Greenvalley ..Eurovillage. hanks to everyone who made our stay in Dhahran special.

I actually attended Dhahran Academy twice...for 1st grade in 1968 and then returned for 5th grade in 1972. I know it's ages ago, but if there are any folks out there who might have attended while I was there for the '72 school year, then I'd be tickled to hear from you, as well as reminisce!

Wow! I've just moved house and found my old yearbooks. Thought I'd see if anyone had put anything on-line, and here I am. Any students/staff about that were in the British stream in 1989/1990? Especially J3B/J4B? I've got a load of messages in the back of my yearbook saying 'see you next year', but the war happened and I never got back. Also, anyone live on Al Bustan the same time? place of residence: dhahran. green valley compound. american stream, kindergarten through 9th grade. i think what you're doing is great. i noticed a couple of names i recognized and will try contacting them. i lived in saudi for the first 17 years of my life and loved every minute of it. i was fun to see the new students hate saudi the first month or o, but when it came time for their parents to move on, no one ever wanted to leave. it's a special place, and a wonderful place to grow up. if any of you know me, please email. i'd love to hear from you.

I'm an Aramco Brat born in Dhahran in 1952 and attended Aramco's Dhahran Senior Staff School K - 9. You all really have seemed to have caught the saudi spirit. When you wake up at night and wonder if Dhahran was dream, you're right, a wonderful dream. F amanallah!
