Well, I'm 27 years old now. Started this page when I was 17. 10 years have gone by so fast! I was in high school when this started and now I'm married, have my own home, have a step-daughter Elizabeth (almost 3 years old) and one on the way! (Due August 31, 2007.) I work for United Concordia (Dental Insurance, Customer Service) as a Technical Assistant. It's been a great 3½ years, with many more to come! Let's start from the beginning. I began making this page in High School then graduated in 1997 from Williamsport Area. I attended Millersville University for 3 semesters majoring in meteorology. After finding that the calculus and physics were way over my head I came home and was unemployed living with mom and dad for a month. In February of 1999 I was hired at AT&T as a Toll-Free Directory Operator. I basically gave out 800 numbers all day. It paid good and the hours weren't too bad. Then the layoff announcement came in February 2002, I would be done working in April. This announcement was made 2 months after buying my new house! For a couple months I worked parttime at various places, collected unemployment and used my savings to stay afloat. Then in June 2002 I was hired at West Pharmaceuticals to inspect plastics caps. It was a decent gig but the hours totally blew. 12 hour weekends, EVERY weekend. (See Allen's home life for more info!) I worked there for a year and began looking for a new job. On September 15, 2003 I began working at United Concordia as a customer service representative. I helped people with benefits and claims question on their dental insurance. A little over 2 years went by and I posted an application to be a Technical Assistant (Assistant Supervisor), I was passed by a couple times for other, more senior, employees. Finally my time came on April 10, 2006. And this is where I am currently in my work life. Now, onto my married life! |

On April 14, 2007 Connie and I got married. The wedding day was great. There were some clouds with a bit of sun and about 55 degrees. The ceremony went off without a hitch and the reception was great. Nothing could've gone better than it did! I was nervous as crap, but it went just fine.
We spent our honeymoon in Lakeville, PA (Poconos) at the Caesar's Resort. It was fabulous! It actually snowed almost 4" the 1st night we were there. My dream honeymoon! LOL Yeah, Connie loved it, not. We won the "Newlywed Not so Newlywed" game! Well, we tied.. if she would've said I'd like to eat a taco off of her rather than strawberries we would've won! I tell ya. Why would I want to eat a strawberry off of her when I could eat a delicious taco?? Women, sheesh. =)
As of now we're gearing up for a yard sale this week to clear out the baby (computer) room and get ready for the new arrival. We do not know what it is and we will find out when it's born. I'll keep you posted! =) |
