The next single from silverchair's second album Freak Show will be Cemetery. No date has been set for its release, but the band will soon film a video clip for the song with director Gerry Casale, who also made the video for silverchair's current single Freak.

The cover artwork for the Cemetery single is now being finalized. According to sources close to the project, the artwork is the band's "best single cover yet."

Once it is released, the Cemetery single will be distributed to radio stations and music video channels around the world. It will be sold in Australia and other parts of the world outside North America. In the U.S. and Canada, it will be available in many stores which sell imports.

Freak Show producer Nick Launay has done a remix of some of the heavier tracks on the album, and his remix will be one of the bonus tracks on the Cemetery single.

silverchair will soon make their first appearances ever in a number of cities around the world, including Darwin, Australia; Stockholm, Sweden; and Manila in the Philippines.

The band will also appear this summer at some of Europe's most famous outdoor music events in Denmark, Belgium, France and Germany.

After three festival dates in Europe this month, silverchair will return home to Australia before resuming their live appearances June 19 at Brisbane's Festival Hall. Then it's on to Darwin and Manila before heading off for Europe.
