Winter Poems

Written on May 7, 1999

In the winter, the world seems to be a barren land,
As if some unseen force destroyed everything with its own hand.
Trees without leaves, fields with no life
All of nature suffering tremendous strife.

The glitter and sparkling of a fresh snowfall,
So beautiful it makes you forget it all.
Gaze into the alternate world, dream away,
But don't tarry too long and waste the day.
