Even the Blackout has rules. These rules are
fair and are needed.
Yes, the Blackout and the people in charge want there to be
fandom
and freedom of expression of the internet, but as you will learn,
a line
has to be drawn somewhere if we are to win.
• Unofficial sites should
not make any profit from material
copyrighted to someone other than them. Fan-fic
is no exception; if
the characters are not yours, no money should
exchange hands.
• Altering of images for a
profit, or to degrade an actor (Example:
fake nude images) will never be tolerated.
• No sites that trash a show
for no good reason. If they do have
intelligent reasoning in the site, that will be
allowed.
• No sites that have
material that would cause a copyright owner to
lose money will be allowed or tolerated.
• Full episode movie files
and audio files will not be allowed. The use
of these might lower the ratings, the actual profit
the show makes,
and there is no point for the existence of these.
