May 8, 1980 ~~ July 23,1998

A few days ago our dear friend died, left us all to weep. Friends, coworkers, classmates, family came together to share their grief. We laid her in the ground you see, so that she may rest in peace. I ask a moment of your time in her memory to think of those you know and love. Remember these moments now because SO SO quickly they can be lost.

  Jenny~~ by Marc Berthiaume

July thenty-third Ninteen Hundred and Ninety-Eight
Was a day for which all could wait.
That was the day a young woman was lost,
Which brought to us all a most painful cost.
It wasn't money or material things,
It was a piece of our hearts that would no longer sing.
She had just turned Eighteen with her life now beginning,
Before we knew now her life passed its ending.
She was kind and gentle and loved by her friends,
And we loved her right through to the end.
Just remember the good times we had when she was around.
Especially now that we are all feeling down.
Anyone who was with her at work, or just hanging out.
She was always a great company and a good listener too,
For all the problems that may have bothered you.
This young woman to whom I am referring
We all know as Jenny, Always loving and caring
None of us want to face that Jenny is gone.
Even those of us who knew her not very long.
So all I can say and I'm sure you'll agree,
Jenny touched a special place in our hearts as she did me.
So we will never forget her
Because we loved her too much for us not to remember.
So I write this poem now to let you all know,
It's OK to move on, but don't let her go...

Marc read this as her tribute at the funeral on July 27th,
we cried in realizing she was not going to be cheering us through
our trials any longer. But we know that she's somewhere special,
watching us and meeting those who've gone past and no price can
be paid for those memories and friendships lost.

ALWAYS WEAR YOUR SEAT BELT!!!!!!!!

An update on us

Now its been quite near a year.
We've moved on to far and near.
Some in school, some at work,
some stayed the same.
But we haven't forgotten, nor have we lost
the memory that was so quickly tossed.
We remember her as she once was,
our beautiful angel, now looking down from heaven above.

If I Only Knew... by Unknown If I knew it would be the last time that I'd see you fall asleep, I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord your soul to keep. If I knew it would be the last time that I see you walk out the door, I would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more. If I knew it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise, I would video tape each action and word, so I could play them back day after day. If I knew it would be the last time, I could spare an extra minute or two, to stop and say that "I love you," Instead of assuming that you KNOW I do. If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day, well, I'm sure you'll have so many more, So I can let this one slip away. For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight, and we always get a second chance to make everything alright. There will always be another day to say our "I love you's," And certainly there's another chance to say our "Anything I can do's." But just in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get, I'd like to say how much I love you and hope we never forget. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike, And today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight. So,if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today? For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day, that you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or kiss. And you were too busy to grant someone, what turned out to be their one last wish. So hold your loved ones close today, whisper in their ear. Tell them how much you love them And that you'll always hold them dear. Take the time to say "I'm sorry" "please forgive me" "thank you" or "It's ok" And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today. The only problem with doing nothing is: How do you know when you're finished?

How much is there to say when someones been taken away?
What can you do to let them know your care was true?
Too many questions with too few answers.
And then time passes and life goes on, but we wonder.
And still we flip through old memories when we meet
pages yellowed with time and tears.
Realizing that no matter what the time or place-
We still look back to see your smiling face.
Pain will dwindle and time will pass
But memories that keep us connected still last
And we share them sweetly-
that your memory lives on in the lives that you touched.
and we cling tightly to them- because you ment so much.
We'll never forget you- and we still love you.
