This first page is dedicated to the Pittsburgh Penguins. For the past few seasons, my team has been the 8th seed in '99, 7th in '00, 6th in '01, and have crushed their first round opponents. Thanks for the memories Devils, Caps, and again Caps. Offensively the Pens have the talent to take it to the next level with a little more support from the 3rd and 4th liners. But, now comes the reality check, our defense still sucks. With Boughner gone, Kaspar rumored to be on the trading block along with Jag's, this season is not looking as promising as last year. Hopefully with a little wheeling and dealing this off season the Pens will look good for a push toward the Cup.
For all those "So big and So strong" Lindros cry babies out there I have only three words for the man who started the little miss migrain, oh my head, stop the room from spinning, please let me win a Cup Barry Melrose poster child...Darius friggin' Kasperitis. Say good night Gracie you glass jawed slacker and good riddance. Yes, I'm like all the other Pens fans, everyone knows that all Flyers must die, WE WILL TAKE OUR REVENGE THIS UPCOMING SEASON. Vengence is ours!!!
J.S. Aubin and Johan Hedburg are the future of this team. I know Sea Bass didn't have the year that I for one expected. I can't fault him for having to stop 2 and 3 on 1 breakaways all the time . I was very impressed with "Moose". Although the team did tighten down defensively around him, he still made some damned fine saves.
Last but not least, and I'll not spend much time on this...Jagr rules all that is hockey. There are none higher playing the game now. To all of you who can't read...I said those that are playing! It's a damn shame that the Pens aren't going to be able to keep him, and that he really doesn't want to play for the Pens any more! I just pray that he goes to someone in the Western Conference. If he is traded to a rival in the East he will make a mockery of us. Mark my words!
