----- Chapter Nineteen -----

When the guys are getting on, they share a dressing room. And that's where me and Marie found ourselves late on, in this dressing room, surrounded by 5ive guys getting changed.

"Did you see who's here, J?" I ask.

"Nope - shock me."

"Destiny's Child," I smile. He's had a crush on the lead singer like forever.

"Destiny's Child?" his eyes grow wide, "Oh my word…" he starts getting changed extra fast and then leaves to roam the corridor on the look-out for their changing room. He pokes his head back round the door a few seconds after he left; "Umm…I believe there's a surprise on its way for a certain Mr. Breen…" and then he disappears again. Abs raises an eyebrow.

"A surprise huh?" and then gets on with putting on his stage outfit.

A little later, there's a tap on the door.

"Come on in!" Rich calls in his usual cheerful way. I'm in total shock as Danielle presents herself in the room. I'm frozen.

"Hello!" she says to people in general, and then to Abs, "Surprise!"

"Wow!" he smiles, "Hello!" They go in for a hug and kiss and I can feel tears welling up in my eyes. Scott's stopped playing kisses with Marie and is giving me concerned looking glances.

Danielle gives me a look and says, "You're wearing his clothes…"

"Well done…" I congratulate flatly.

"She borrowed them, " Abs explains hastily. Danielle shrugs and whispers (but loud enough for everyone else to hear) to him,

"I can give you your birthday surprise tonight…"

It's too much for me. That smirk on her face - just the whole thing of them being together. I quickly leave the room as the first tear spill and slides down my face…
