At the East Coast Music Awards  in February 1998 ,Great Big Sea was presented with a double platinum award  for "UP" and  a single platinum award  for "PLAY", which went double platinum shortly after the awards.  "UP" is now triple platinum!  They won 5 ECMA awards, including "Entertainer Of The Year" for the 3rd year in a row!
