Stephen has worked for years in the Mississippi area and has raised more than a few eyebrows in the past with area musicians and critics. The last CD entitled, "Love Songs for the Apathetic" was praised by Marty Peters of Recording magazine as:
"...one of the better four track projects you're likely to hear."
Not always your typical songwriter Stephen has always offered a "charming" brand of song writing with his often unorthodox guitar and vocal stylings.
Stephen is currently working with an all-star cast of musicians such as Wayne Lohr and Mike McCallister (J.J. Muggler), LeAnn Paramore and Joe Sims(Kindred Spirits), Ryan Duke (Dirty Filthy Hippies), Pat Quave (Determinate Soul) and Steve Tulino for a project in the works entitled "Goodbye". The title track "Goodbye" reflects his feelings about former members and friends in general.
"I have seen a lot of friends and bandmates come and go. I have learned and taken something away from every friendship I have ever had. They all meant something to me. Whether it meant anything to them or not, this is my tribute to my friends."
Stephen is currently working on a comic book that will be released along with the new record and will also be entitled "goodbye". He also runs his own label Body Thief Records and is involved in many production projects in the works. He is in the studio working on "Goodbye" and looks to have it released by late January.
