| This page was launched on May 18,1999 and since that time, it's been through a few changes. At one time, before letting the domain name expire, it went by www.weenbootlegs.com and before that, it was www.burrosville.com. I used to have a page up with fake celebrity comments on Ween that folks seemed to like and early on, I had even attempted a half-assed go at starting a Ween fan forum. I have to admit that over the last few years I've gotten beyond lazy with maintaining this place. This is mainly due to the fact that people tend to trade files online now and since I had this site to primarily trade ween bootlegs, there was no longer a need in doing manic updates all of the time. The old days of trading DVDs,CDs, VHS tapes and even cassettes seem to be all but a distant and fading memory and I realized long ago that there are far better Ween sites out there than I could ever offer with my limited time and resources. I've met some great people along the way while running this site and I've lost contact with almost all of them. It's sad how time can do that.... |
