~ Concert Personality ~

After observing the lead singer and guitar players, your eyes move to the second row and settle on . . . . the bass player, a tall bald man who is just jamming!

You watch him for awhile- he's always wondering around shirtless (enter evil grin) and playing. You realize then that he's actually pretty quiet, the only one in the band- well, except for perhaps Richard and Paul- who doesn't seem to be jumping around all over the place. You're quite happy with that. Everything's nicely balanced. You keep watching him.

Things become interesting when you make note that sometimes he either comes out with a rubber ducky or some other spiffy gadgets (bondage anyone?). You're also very surprised when the song *Seemann* is played- the bass player is THE man of music in the song, as he stands to the side either playing bass or even WOAH! an acoustic guitar.

Thinking, you wonder how he must really be. . . . and how cool the shades are.

Height: Alright, the actual HEIGHT isn't known, but honestly, he's the tallest. Even taller than Flake. Agh.

Oliver is the second member of the band who doesn't seem to really change when you compare on-stage to off-stage. In real life, he's- yes- quiet and often serious when it comes to interviews. But he's still very nice! =)

Some misc facts:

i) Ollie is not married
ii) He's the only member who does not have any children!
iii) Oliver is the "techie" of the group : o )
iv) Mr Riedel came up with the idea for the music in *Seemann*
v) if you're lucky, before some of their concerts, you may be lucky enough to find Oliver on his skateboard :)
vi) he can ride a horse (hehe)
vii) Oliver was the third person in the band
viii) Oliver has a tattoo on his upper [right] arm (if I remember correctly!)
ix) yes, he had a rubber ducky on his head in a concert, as according to a Steiner who went!
x) he contributes to writing the music :)
xi) In the Family Values video, during the backstage footage, it is very hard to spot Ollie but he's there with the rest of the band! He sort of just sneaks around the place. . .
