"Whoa girl, someone's got some attitude!" Michelle pointed out while unlocking Brittney's locker for her.
"Actually I couldn't be happier! I'm going to New York!"
"Hey cool! Are you going with Taylor?"
" Ah, no they left already, and I'm not going till next weeek, on Spring Break. But I'm hoping to catch up with him somewhere."
"Good luck! NY's a big place!"
"Well, yeah, but I lived there most of my life and plus Tay said that he would call me so....maybe... well yeah, I'm sure I'll see him."
"Your lucky, I'm going to be stuck at home all next week. But ha, while your in NY, I'm going to be on my couch, not missing a move Eric Brady makes on Days Of Our Lives!"
Brittney laughed. Between Jensen Ackles and Matt Damon, Michelle would faint.
"You know Michelle, Hanson's new video Weird is directed by the same guy who directed Good Will Hunting. Maybe he has connections to Matt!"
"When are they tapiing it?!"
"In a couple weeks I think.. But it's in NY."
"Man, not fair!"
They both slammed theor locker doors and seperated when the bell rang for class.
Brittney hated Monday's... and especially when she had the while week before she left of NY. She took her seat in homeroom just when the bell rang. But when she saw Josh sit next to her, she almost got up to move. But she decided not to, she had to face him sometime.
"Hey" Josh said to her placing his books on his desk.
Brittney looked at him. He was wearing a navy blue Tommy shirt that matched his eyes. " Why does he always have to look so good?" Brittney thought. "Remember Brittney, looks can be deciving." her concense rang in her head.
"Hello." Britttney answered back.
"So, I heard that your going to NY. You must be excited. Have you told Tay yet? I'm sure he'll be happy. But we're all going to miss you around here."
" How come he always has to involve Tay when he talks to me?" she thought.
"Are you going to any shows while your there?" Josh started again.
"Well, I don't actually know yet. I mean, I've lived there my whole life, shows are really fun but there not all that different to me. I grew up watching them."
"You grew up watching Jay Leno?" Wow... I mean, I grew up watching Ninga Turtles and the Smurffs and I can't forget good ol' Scooby Doo..."
"Josh, I mean Brodway shows, not Jay Leno." Brittney laughed.
The teacher soon got everyone in the class to quiet down, and so the day began.
Bruttney rushed in the door after school, scared that she wouldn't make it home in time! No one was home.. so with shoes on and all, she ran into the den to turn on the TV. Oprah was just staring. MMMBop rang through the speakers, not to mention the rest of the house, while Brittney sang every word. Soon the song ended and the show took a commercial break. She went into the hallway and took off her shoes and jacket. Teh she went into the kitchen to get something to eat. Whe she relized that the show was back on, she rushed back into the den and plopped herself onto the couch. The crowd was screaming, which made Brittney feel good to know that they loved Hanson. Tay was smiling ear to ear and nodded as Oprah asked them questions. Ike was so funny during the whole thing. And Zac seemed to be a bit too comfortable and had some obsession with flying. All in all the interveiw made Brittney laugh. They all looked so thrilled to be talking with Oprah. But halfway through the questions, the topic came up of girls. Each one were asked if they had girlfriends. Each one said no. Brittney couldn't belive her ears! Of course she wasn't Tay's girlfriend, but it was also like she didn't even exsist and that any girl could come up and be his girlfriend! Did he not want people to know about them? Was he scared that if he said he was seeing someone that his girl fans wouldn't like him any more? What was his problem? Than, all of a sudden it came to Brittney.
