"Hey Robin!" she said droping her bags to hug her best friend.
"How was the flight?" Robin asked.
"Well, I slept most of the time and listened to music."
"Oh, what CD?"
"Um, Hanson." Brittney said cautiously.
"You never told me that you were into them. I love them!"
"Yeah, but they have good music, they just kind of grew on me."
Just Brittney's luck. She figured she would have to tell Robin about tay soon, but not as soon as she got off the plane. Brittney had never told anyone from NY about Taylor Hanson, she didn't want them to freak out onher. So just to be safe she kept everything to herself. But now it was almost ready to blow back up in her face.
Iy was going on 2 o'clock, New York time. "You can put your suitcase in the corner, over by the closet. What cha' bring anyway?" Robin asked climbling up into the top bunk of her bunk beds.
"Not much." Brittney answered sitting on the floor. "Some CD's, magazines, just stuff!"
"Say, where's that picture of all of your friends you were suppose to bring?"
Brittney practicaly stopped breathing. She couldn't show Robin that picture, Taylor was in it! But Robin was a good friend, she'd understand, she wouldn't flip out on her. She's normal. Maybe that was the problem.
"Um Robin, I gotta tell you something, k? And I don't want you to freak out over it, ok?"
"Sure, what's the big deal?"
"Well you see, you know I moved to Tulsa?"
"Yeah"
"Well you see I met some really good friends, really nice froends, and um, I ahh... think you know them."
"How in the world would I know anyone living in Tulsa?"
"Well, um, I don't really know how to say this but, um, Hanson lives in Tulsa."
"Yeah, in some big mansion with 7 kids in the family and secertly everywhere, did you know they had a new baby sister Zoe?"
"Actually yeah, I seen her."
"Oh did they have a picture in the paper? Is she cute?"
"Robin, listen ok?" Brittney practically shouted. "Hanson have a new baby sister Zoe, yes, I MET her, they don't live in in a mansion, they live in a bungelo(sp?) up the street from me.... and their my friends!"
"Oh yeah, and I forgot to tell you that Janet Jackson live across the street!" Robin mocked laughing.
"Fine, you want proof?" Brittney hauled out the picture from her suitcase. "Here.. that's Taylor!"
" OH MY GOSH, YOU KNOW TAYLOR HANSON!!!!" Robin screamed jumping down from the bunk beds to hug her friend.
"Robin calm down, please, you can't tell anyone... I mean it.... Tay would kill me....plus their in NY for awhile and I have to find him... and just please don't tell anyone!"
"OK, ok, but this is the biggest thing ever, I mean, man, you know Taylor Hanson!"
"I think we've already acomplshed that... so ah, can we move on now?"
"Ok fine, who are the rest of the people and where's Ike and Zac?"
"OK, well, that's Brock and Michelle and at the timethey were going out, but they're brokn up now, and as you know, that's Tay. That's J-J-J-Jo-Josh... and um, Ike drove us there and I forget where Zac was, the picture was taken like a month ago."
"That's so cool!"
"Yeah."
"Well, we're going to Conan O'Brien Thursday, maybe you can introduce me?"
"That's if I can get near him!"
"Your so lucky, Brittney, you must love Tulsa. I can't belive this! Maybe I should move to Tulsa too!"
"I wish you could have." Brittney agreed.
"You seem so happy there. I'm glad everything turned out great for you Britt!" Robin said once again hugging her friend, but this time without as much excitement.
"Yeah, things are just peachy."Brittney thought.
