"Man, I can't belive that all this was a false alarm!" complained Isaac while hitting the stearing wheel of the van.
"Well honey, it's bound to happen... I mean you never know, so you have to make sure."
"Yeah but mom, don't you know when your water breaks?" Zac wondered.
"I just got a bit nervous, that's all. You would be too if you were carrying(sp?) around this baby for 9 months."
"Well it's a good thing you didn't have the baby because dad won't be back till tonight from uncle Karl's" Tay said.
"So mom, you have to hold that thing in untill dad does get home, ok?" Zac told his mother. He was sitting baside Mackie in the middle and Taylor and Jessica were in the back.
" I just don't get it," Jessica spoke up "I mean, why do we have to have another kid, isn't this family big enought already?"
"I thought you, above all people,would love to have a new baby in the house. The way you carry your dolls around the house, you'd think they were real." Zac reminded her.
"Well yeah, but if it's a boy, I'll think I'll scream! The last thing I need is another brother!" she shot back at Zac while sticking her tounge at him. Zac stuck his tounge out too, but he put his fingers in his ears and made a face also, to get back at her.
"Ok, enough you two. I just want a peaceful ride home, so sit down please!" Mrs.Hanson warned.
When they got back to the house the 3 boys went to their room. Zac started playing video games and Ike picked up a book and started doing some homework. As for Tay, he just sort of layed on his bed for a while thinking. Suddenly he jumped up off the bed.
"Where are you going?" Zac questioned
"Out"
"Can I come?"
"Well, I kind of wanted to go alone, ok?"
"Yeah, what-ever!" Zac kept on playing his video games.
Taylor was out the door in no time. He just needed to get out in some ways more than others. Lately his family was so upset, especialy when it came to the baby. He never heard of having to make so many decisions in all his life. This really was causing so much confusion. He would love to have a new little brother or sister, but untill this thing was born, he just needed to stay out of everybody's way.
He decided to go to the park, just to think or whatever he wanted he wanted to,and where he couldn't be disturbed. He walked over to the wing and sat down. The seat was cold and for a second he wished he ws back home.
"I should have called josh to come with me." he thought, but soon remembered that he was over at his girlfriends house today.
" That's another thing," he thought to himself, " How come I don't have a girlfriend? I mean everyday I have people swampping over me but none of them care about me, they just care about what I do! Maybe that's something that I need for the new year. So I'm a moth late fro making new years resulution, but at least it's good one! Yeah, real good Taylor, you can't just pick any girl you want! Be realistic!"
Brittney was walking up the street and noticed a park. "This neighbourhood is pretty basic, unlike NY." she told herself. "Boy, do you want to play fetch?" she looked at the dog as if it would respond. "OK, let's go!"
They entered the park and she threw one of the dog's chew toys she had gotten off the lawn. She looked around. "Hey, there's a girl over there! She looks about my age. Maybe she'll come over and talk to me, or maybe I should go over there? Nah, I'm not real good at introducing myself. So maybe she'll come over here.
Tay looked up to see a girl with long brown hair entering the park. With her was a dog, small and cute. She was throwing something for the dog to fetch. She looked at him and he smiled back.
"She's really pretty." he thought to himself. " Maybe I should go say hi?"
Brittney got the chew toy out of Tobi's mouth and threw it again. She turned around only to see the girl standing behind her, only it wasn't it a girl, it was a guy, and may I add,a good looking one!
"Hi" he said.
