“Hey, Justin wake up!” Chris yelled.
“OK, I’m awake. What’s the big deal?”
“We’re at the hotel. I thought you might like to sleep on a real bed,” Chris smiled at his young friend. Justin rubbed his eyes and got up.
He started walking out of the bus. “Where are the other guys?”
“They love you so much that they just left you here.”
Justin patted Chris on the back. “You’re my only friend.”
“I know.”
Once upstairs, in their hotel room, the three other members of the group joined Chris and Justin. “So, what should we do?” Joey asked.
“Sleep!” JC answered. The other guys grabbed the nearest thing to them and threw it towards JC.
“Look, Sleepy, we’re in Paris. Let’s do something special,” Lance said.
“OK, Dopey. Then what should we do?”
“I dunno. Justin?”
Justin got a smile on his face. “What about EuroDiseny?”
The others looked at each other. “Any other suggestions?” Joey asked.
“OK, we have about 12 hours free- let’s do some sight seeing,” Chris suggested. “You know- the Eiffel tower, the Lourve museum, the Paris thing.”
The guys agreed to go sighting. Justin really didn’t want to go. He wasn’t feeling good. “Hey, Justin,” JC said pulling him aside. “Are you OK?”
“Not really JC, it’s been a year now.”
JC was the only member of the group who had actually met Alexia. The others had heard about her though. “Justin, why don’t you call her?”
“Why? So I can get her answering machine again. I’ve called her tons of times and she has never called back. She doesn’t want anything to do with me.”
“Justin- I doubt that. Remember how hard it was for you?” Justin nodded. “She probably went through the same pain you did and she is trying to let go of what you guys had.”
“Why, though?”
“Justin, you aren’t there anymore. You just have to understand that she is probably trying to move on.”
“I don’t want to hear that JC- Be Quiet!” Justin ordered.
JC looked at his young friend. “Well, are you coming?”
“Yeah, I guess so,” he replied following JC.
“Justin, pretend to be happy. Smiled- for me,” Chris made a girly voice.
“You are a goofball,” Justin broke a smiled.
“So, where to first?” Joey asked.
“What are the Lourve?” Lance replied. “We’ll go see Mona Lisa first and then we’ll eat.”
“Lead the way, man,” Chris ordered.
