On the bus Justin sat as far away from Alexia as possible. She sat in the back with Flora, JC, and Chris. Lance sat in front of them with Betty and Joey sat across from them; Ana sat next to Justin. “I’m hungry,” Chris complained.
“So, what?” Lance answered.
Alexia went through he bag. “I have some Cookie Crisps. Want some?”
“Yes, please,” Chris said looking at the box that Alexia handed him. “What happened to the cop?”
“He was phased out,” Flora laughed. Alexia joined in the laughing. They were both thinking the same thing.
“Hey! That’s my line!” Chris said.
“I know,” Alexia giggled.
“Alex- you are doing it again,” Flora accused.
“I am not!” Alex defended herself.
“She is, isn’t she Betty?”
Betty wasn't even paying attention. She turned around. “What?”
“Alex is doing it again, right?”
“What are you talking about?”
“Never mind- go back to flirting with Lance.” Flora smiled. Betty turned red. Alex and Flora started laughing. “Hey, Ana!” Flora yelled.
“Watcha doing?” Alex continued.
“I’m talking to Justin,” she replied.
“Yeah, I’m sure. I bet she is as bad she her sister,” Flora smiled.
“You two are horrible,” JC smiled. “Talk about hyper.”
“Hyper me?” Alex said. “You’re confused.”
“Anyways, how did you know that was my line?” Chris asked.
“I listen to the radio,” Flora said.
“Oh, so you are an obsessed fan, huh?” Joey laughed.
“Obsessed?” Flora questioned. “Nope, not really. Well, maybe a little.”
Betty turned around. “Admit it, Flo. You are obsessed.”
“Hey, can you sing us a song?” Alex asked.
“I guess so.” Lance replied. “Hey Justin, come on, we are going to sing a song.”
“Alright,” Justin said moving to sit next to Joey. “What are we going to sing?”
“Umm, I personally like Some Dreams, but whatever you guys like,” Alex hinted.
“You guys are obsessed. How did you get a hold of our European album?” Joey asked.
“Internet trading,” Alexia laughed. “Sing!” the guys started singing. The whole bus was quiet. When they finished everyone was clapping.
“Hey, you guys are good. You should do that professional or something,” some girl yelled.
“That’s an idea for you,” Chris laughed. Slowly everyone started falling asleep. Alex was the first on the fall asleep. Next to her, Chris fell asleep also, leaving alone Flora and JC awake.
“Flora, can I ask you a question?” JC asked.
“Yeah, sure, go ahead.”
“Does Alexia honestly not remember Justin?”
“She’s never met him.”
“What if I told you that that isn’t true, and that not only did she meet him, but they also went out.”
“I would question what drugs you are on. She would remember,” she paused for a second. “Unless it was…”
“Unless what?”
“When did she met him?”
“About a year ago,” he replied.
“Well, then I might believe you. She was in Orlando a year ago this time. She had met some guy up there, but she never told me his name or anything. But, that time is the only thing she doesn’t remember.”
“Why?” JC asked.
“On her way back from Orlando- she was hit by a drunk driver. She was hurt really bad. I mean she was in a coma for two months. When she came out of it, she had her memory except for that month or two.” Flora explained.
“Oh,” JC replied. “Well, what if I told out that the guy she met was Justin?”
“I guess I could believe it.”
“Well, what are we too do about?”
Some Memories Just Aren't Enough
