Chapter Seven
Leah sat in Carson's
room. The boy that her mom had said was her age. He was cute. But
all Leah thought about was Zac. They were sitting on Carson's bed.
'So, whatcha wanna do?' He asked her.
'Go home.'
She said. I wasn't supposed to say that! I was supposed to think
it! She scolded herself.
'Why?' He
asked.
'I'm going
rollerblading with someone tonight in the park on Jones' street.....You
know, you have a huge house, it's really beautiful.' She told him.
'I know, we
have alot of money.'
She rolled
her eyes. What a conceited little jerk..
'Who are you
going blading with?'
'A friend.'
'Who?'
'Zac Hanson.'
He didn't
believe her. 'Nice joke! That is one ugly fourteen year old guy!' He laughed.
She was now pissed at him.
'So what do
you wanna do?'
'I donno.
Stop asking me!' She sighed.
'I have an
idea.' He said as he leaned in on her. Once Leah realized what he was doing,
she pushed him away.
'You jerk!
Get off me!'
'Why? You
know you like me!' He said grinning.
'NO I DON'T!
GET OFF OF ME!' She looked at her watch, almost time to go, good!
She got up and walked for the door.
'Too bad you
told me where you're going tonight.' He said threatening her.
'Oh puh-lease!'
Was all she said.
-
'Mom, you're
gonna feel like such an idiot! I swear! When I open up that door yo--'
*ding dong*
Leah ran over
to the door, her mother right behind her. She opened up the door,
and smiled.
'Zac, meet
my mom, Cathy. Mom, meet Zac Hanson.' She smiled slyly.
'Oh, I feel
like such an idiot!' Her mother said to Zac.
'Hello, nice
to meet you Mrs.....?' He looked at Leah.
'Oh! Parker.'
'Nice to meet
you Mrs. Parker.' He said as he shook her hand and smiled a very cute smile.
'Hang on to
him honey.' She whispered to her daughter as she was walking out the door
with Zac. Leah rolled her eyes.
