EGO BOOSTER BAND

Adam Darowski
vocals, guitar, bass
Adam Cooper
drums, percussion

Ego Booster began in July of 1996 with guitarist Adam Darowski and bassist Chris Fillippi jamming together in Chris' hometown of Somerset, MA. Soon, local drumming prodigy Adam Cooper was added to the mix and the band began gigging and recording that August as Ego Booster. The band released a four song demo tape entitled "Kitty In A Dress" (MM001 - engineered by Craig Sowersby) in September.

After the release of "Kitty," Ego Booster developed more songs, continued gigging, and built a strong local fan base. This all slowed down as the summer of 1997 approached. Fillippi decided to leave the band to pursue other musical interests and Cooper took a job on Cape Cod for the summer. Darowski spent the summer months writing new songs for the hopeful resurgence of Ego Booster.

After Fillippi’s absence, Darowski and Cooper spent countless months writing, rehearsing, and recording new material. That fall was spent preparing for the creation of the band's full-length debut, the “New Life” CD (MM002 - engineered by Mike Poisson, Jeff Halladay, and Sowersby), released in April of 1998.
