This was the 12th year of the Miss Windy City Continental Pageant. The pageant was held on Monday, August 2, 1999, at the Baton Show Lounge, 436 N. Clark St. Chicago, IL. Tiara Russell was crowned the winner. First runner up was Deja, and second runner up was Sunny Dee-Lite.
Miss Windy City 2000 will be held next summer.
Entry fee for contestants is $75. Prizes are $300 for the winner plus hotel accomodations, air fare (if needed) and entry fee to the Miss Continental Pageant Labor Day weekend.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
Former Miss Windy Citys are: Sylvia Del Rio, Chanel Dupree, Whitney Gaiton, Peaches LeRoy, Dianna Blackwell, Flame Monroe, Necole Luv, Claudia Carrington, Nikki Green Anita Mann and Vanessa Kelly.
