On January 30, 1986, U2 appeared on the Irish television show “TV GAGA” and performed an early verion of a song to appear on their next album.  It  was introduced as “I Trip Through Your Wires.”  The lyrics are completely different than the album version.  The song, in its early stages, is about the rundown buildings and ruinsof Dublin.
