The Charnel House consists of Clint on keyboards, Jason on Guitar and vocals, Michael on drums, and Ernie on guitar.

The band is originally from Denton, Texas.

Formed in 1994, The Charnel House is mainly influenced by British bands such as The Cure, Joy Division, The Police, New Order, The Legendary Pink Dots, Depeche Mode, and Dead Can Dance. However, they also draw inspiration from such diverse artists as Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails, Thelonious Monk, Bach, Mozart and Beethoven.

The Charnel House regularly performs in the Denton, Dallas, Ft. Worth area.
