I go by the name eagelfeather, I am a single mother. My daughter is just about ready to get out of high school. I myself never fisished,but am in Adult Ed School now so I can. I am also back in college to get my degree in english and I hope to another in Idian Studies ,so that I can help out my poeple. I would love to neither work in social services or something to do Indian Affirs. So as I said before, I love anything About The Blackfoot Indian Nation,and anything From Russell Means.

I like alot of sports like, tennis,Iceskating camping ships,like the U.S.A tems in compution. I just wish I could some of those things myself. One of my altime things to do is working on my computer. It is so much fun. I can find just about anything on it. The one I use is my Dad's, but he hasn't learned to use it yet himself. So the only ones who are my daughter and myself.

I also enjoy going to the library and looking up new things. I always meet new poeple there,too. I enjoy Westerns,too. I always root for the Indians to win. But like always we don't. I use to live with my mom,my brothers and sisters,as well as my Grandparents on an indian Revation when I was a small child. I didn't like much of what I saw there. There was too much trouble with the people who ran it. They were always trying to make us do things we didn"t want to do. We had to wear what they wanted us to wear,act the they wanted us to act. We also had to go to the white mans school and learn there ways,too. At first it was hard for me,because I was just getting use to the ways of my people. I did learn them,but most of the thinngs I learned are things I don't use in mylife as I did back then. I saw young girls or should I say young women get beat up and more often then not raped. I was somethimes beat up myself,but I was lucky I guess,because I was not raped,not like my Indian sisters were, but there are many ways to rape or take away a persons self-worth. To this day I still have a low-self-eseam,not just from them,but some of my family got into the act. Now that I have started back to school and I have taken self-esteam classes, even with the help of my daughter and my new found friends I can now see that I am someone speical, at one time I just wanted to die, But now I am gald to be alive. There people loke my daughter and my friends who need me around. I try my best to help out my friends, yes even my family when ever I can. I help at my daughters school all the time. I help when they need someone to ride on the school bus trips and help with the students. My daughter is in colorgard,so I help out with the shows,doing hair,stage work,and with the outfits, and even when they get hurt they come to me. I act as a mother for all the girls, I also help them out with thier problems,if I can. When they do come to it's because they can't go to thier parents. I do try and get them to do so. Because I don't anyone to be mad at me for helping their child when they come to me. In school I was always the one my friends would come to for help. Girls would come to me about boys,and boys would come o me about the girls. I am very proud that I can help when I am needed. I will be adding more updates as i go along.

I haven't been to a POWWOW since I was small,but I plan to strat going again soon. I really love the dancing,music,songs, I love just everything about POWWOWS. I think everyone should go. They might just see that Indians are not bad people,that we are just like them, we just want to live in pleaseand be able to live by our own rules and religion,just the way they do. Maybe then they will see that we,too can even live my thires,as well. After reading my pages give me ring and tell me what you think about my pages.
