	ARIK and David are seen crossing the frozen 
	quicksand lake and are now arriving on the 
	other side.  

				DAVID
			(Looking tired)
		How much farther Arik?
				
				ARIK
		It's about another half-hour.

	David watches as Arik keeps looking behind them.
				
				DAVID
		What's wrong Arik?

	Arik stops and glances at a device on his 
	belt looking like a beeper and touches a
	button..

				ARIK
			(Alert)
		I think we're being followed. 

				DAVID
		Tell me about your secret weapon
		the death ray, called, miracle?

				ARIK
		MIRACLES, Mid-Infrared Advanced 
		Chemical Laser Energy System.

				DAVID
		What principal or theory does 
		it operate on?
						
				ARIK
		Megawatt-class variable power,
		with good beam quality,
		Continuous Mid-Infrared.
		one-hundred seconds maximum
		LASE duration.

				DAVID
		No shit?
				
				ARIK
		MIRACLES was the first megawatt-class,
		continuous wave, chemical laser. It's
		a DEUTERIUM FLUORIDE CHEMICAL LASER
		with energy distributed among ten
		LASING lines between 4.8 and 5.3
		MICRONS WAVELENGTH. 

				DAVID
		With that weapon you could knock
		down all of our satellites and
		our space station too!
			
				ARIK
		Yes, I know! MIRACLES operation is
		similar to a rocket engine in which
		a fuel ethylene, is burned with an 
		oxidizer NITROGEN TRIFLUORIDE, Free, 
		excited FLUORINE atoms are one of the
		combustion products. Just downstream 
		from the combusted, DEUTERIUM and HELIUM
		are injected into the exhaust. DEUTERIUM 
		combines with the excited FLUORINE to
		give excited DEUTERIUM FLUORIDE molecules, 
		while the HELIUM stabilizes the reaction
		and controls the temperature. The laser's
		resonator mirrors are wrapped around the 
		excited exhaust gas and optical energy is 
		extracted. The cavity is actively cooled 
		and can be run until the fuel supply is
		exhausted. The laser's output power can be 
		varied over a wide range by altering 
		the fuel flow rates and mixture. MIRACLES
		produces a beam of light six feet across 
		using millions of watts from burning fuel. 
		It destroys targets by burning them up. 

				DAVID
		Unbelievable! Do you store it in
		a safe place? 

				ARIK
		I destroyed it last year, so I 
		wouldn't be tempted to use it.
		
				DAVID
		Good move! 

				ARIK
		Jenna sold the plans to some people
		from the Middle East and they plan
		to develop it for themselves.

				DAVID
		I can't believe she would do 
		something like that, why?

				ARIK
		She has already paid in buckets.
		The buyers met her in French 
		Guyana. They took the plans and 
		placed her in a cell in Devils
		Island, but she escaped.

				DAVID
		Now I know what she was doing there.

				ARIK
		She was distraught over the loss of
		our parents and twin sisters. 

				DAVID
		The people from the middle east will 
		probably use it on Israel or the United
		States.

				ARIK
		They told her it would be used on Iran. 

				DAVID
		Far out.

				ARIK
		I really miss my parents. 
		
				DAVID
		How old are you David?

				ARIK
		Why do you want to know?

				DAVID
		I heard people from LEMURIA and
		ATLANTIS live to be several
		hundred years old.

				ARIK
		I'm about one-hundred eighty two 
		years old.

				DAVID
		How about Jenna

	Arik looks at David, obviously reading his 
	thoughts by Mental telepathy, then Arik smiles.

				ARIK
		You're in love with my sister 
		aren't you David?

				DAVID
			(Smiling)
		I'm afraid I am.

				ARIK
		She is a few years younger
		than me. Is that a problem?

				DAVID
		I will have to think about that.

				ARIK
		If your thinking of children, forget
		it, Lemurian women cannot conceive
		after they are over one-hundred years
		old.

				DAVID
		I wasn't thinking about children, I 
		was thinking, how much older can she
		get?

				ARIK
		Lemurian women can live to be two to 
		three hundred years old.

				DAVID
		Where do you guys get your DNA?

				ARIK
		We originally are not of this world.

				DAVID
		Oh, I see.

				ARIK
		Beware, we are almost there. Watch
		for more illusions, the last few
		hundred yards.
			
				DAVID
		What next?

				ARIK
		Someone is approaching us from the
		small rock outcropping.
	
	Arik looks at the intruder, obviously heading
	straight for them.

				ARIK
		You there, stop or I will be 
		forced to use my disrupter.

				DAVID
			(looking at Intruder)
		It's a young boy.

				ARIK
		There are no small children here. 

				DAVID
		Let's talk to him before you 
		Zap him.
		
				ARIK
		Stop and identify yourself!

				DAVID
		Oh my god, he's still coming.

	The intruder stops and sits on the sandy
	ground.

				INTRUDER
		I am JOL, and have come to warn
		you, not to enter the Inner City.

				ARIK
		Why, who are you?

				DAVID
		Yeah, who the hell are you?

				JOL
			(looking at Arik)
		I represent the people who have
		taken your sister, and if you
		enter the inner city she will
		die.

				ARIK
		What do you want?

				DAVID
		Yeah, what the hell do you want?

				JOL
		My people recovered your Death Ray
		Machine from where you buried it.
		We want you to help us use it 
		against the people who poisoned 
		our water.

				ARIK
		If I help you, will you release
		my sister, unharmed..

				JOL
		You have my word, Lemurian.

				ARIK
		Lead the way.

				DAVID
		I thought you said you and your
		sister were all that was left of
		your civilization?

				ARIK
		Yes, that's true, we are but he
		represents the people from Atlantis 
		or better what's left of Atlantis.

	Arik and David have followed the young boy and
	disappear in a small canyon.

				DAVID (VO)
		I wish I were home!

				ARIK (VO)
		At least you have a home!

				        CUT TO:		
		
	ARIK, DAVID and JOL are seen going into a large 
	cavern. After several hundred feet the come to 
	the end of the cavern which opens out to 
	a huge underground world.  

				DAVID
			(In total shock)
		Arik, did you know this other 
		underground world was here?
				
				ARIK
		Yes I did, yes I did.

	David watches as Arik keeps close behind JOL.
				
				DAVID
		What's wrong Arik?

	Arik stops and glances at a large building looking
	like an Egyptian Pyramid.

				ARIK
			(Alert)
		I think we're in trouble. 

				DAVID
		In trouble? Why?

				ARIK
		MIRACLES, is mounted on the 
		top of that Pyramid and it
		looks like they're ready to
		test it.

				DAVID
		What the hell can they hit in  here?
						
				ARIK
		They will cut through the ice 
		and provide a hole to shoot
		down your satellites.

				DAVID
		No shit?

				ARIK
		They didn't design and build 
		the weapon so they have no 
		investment or discipline.
		So they are willing to 
		haphazardly test it at 
		whatever they see. 
													DAVID
		With that weapon you could knock
		down all of the ceiling in this
		underground city and bury us all!
			
				ARIK
		Yes, I know!

				DAVID
		Unbelievable! Are they that stupid? 

				ARIK
		I dumped it last year, so I 
		or they wouldn't be able to 
		use it. I was trying to 
		protect them from themselves! 

				DAVID
		You should have blown it up
		with your disrupter weapon! 

	JOL places his hand up indicating for them to
	stop. He points a small device at a rock 
	wall on the Pyramid and a panel slides 
	up exposing a corridor.

				JOL
		Follow me and do not leave my side?

	JOL continues down the tunnel exposing ancient
	writings on the wall.

				DAVID
			(Looking at Arik)
		What language is that?

				ARIK
		MAYAN.

				DAVID
		Mayan, what the hell were
		Mayans doing down here?

				ARIK
		Before the great flood, six
		thousand years ago, all
		the Ancient civilizations
		visited each other all the 
		time. You know, Lemurians,
		Atlantians, Egyptians and 
		of course the Mayans.

				DAVID
		How did any survive the 
		great deluge?

				ARIK
		Lemurians and Atlantians went 
		underground and were able to
		save some of the Ancient 
		civilizations.

				DAVID
		Wow, this is like a dream!

				ARIK
		We're getting close to the 
		Control Center of NEW 
		ATLANTIS.

				DAVID
		Control Center?

				JOL
		Beware, we are almost there.
		Watch your step.
			
				DAVID
		What the hell is this?

				ARIK
		This is a small land bridge
		connecting two cliffs.
	
	JOL looks at them and motions them to 
	follow him across the narrow land bridge
	that traverses the two huge cliffs where
	the Abyss is seen looking down several
	thousand feet. They cross then stop at
	another rock wall. JOL points his device
	again at the rock wall and a door appears.
	They walk in and the door closes. The are
	now inside a large room where several 
	people are operating what appears to be
	some form of primitive computers. A
	large screen appears on the wall and
	a diagram of Antarctica is seen. An
	older man approaches to greet them.

				HOST
		Welcome to New Atlantis, Arik
		and friend. Do not worry your
		sister is in good hands and 
		will be at your side shortly.
		I am SIRIUS, your host.

				DAVID
			(looking at Sirius)
		Greetings from the upper world.

				ARIK
			(pointing to projection) 
		What does that chart represent. 

				SIRIUS
		A gentle reminder to all of us.
		This is a simulation of the area
		of our world contaminated by the
		dumping of radioactive waste by
		the people of the outer world.

				SIRIUS
		The large dark diagram in the middle
		is a plot of the extent of the damage
		to our underground water table.
		
				ARIK
		What do I have to do to get my
		sister released to me?

				SIRIUS
		We want you to blow a large hole 
		the ceiling of our kingdom so we
		can target the satellites of the 
		outer world.

				JOL
			(looking at Arik)
		My people recovered your Death Ray
		Machine from where you buried it.
		We want you to help us use it 
		against the people who poisoned 
		our water.

				ARIK
		If I help you, will you release
		my sister, unharmed..

				SIRIUS
		You have my word, Lemurian.

				ARIK
		Lead the way. Take good care of my
		friend David while I'm gone.

				SIRIUS
		Oh absolutely, 
			(Calling out to a young lady)
		MYRA, please come here for a minute.
		David, Myra will take you to our
		hospitality center and give you
		food and drink and any thing else 
		that suits your fancy. Myra, take 
		good care of our friend David.

	David is breathless when he sees Myra, a beautiful
	young lady in what appears to be her early twenties.
	she is tall has olive skin and appears of Greek 
	heritage. Her Greek Goddess costume could pass 
	for a serious "G" string bikini. She has big 
	brown eyes and long black hair.

				MYRA
		Hello David.

	She embraces him and kisses him tenderly. 
	Grabbing his hand he is led to another room,
	looking like a lounge.
		
				DAVID
		I heard people from LEMURIA and
		ATLANTIS live to be several
		hundred years old.

				MYRA
		I'm ATLANTIAN and I'm only
		forty-two years old.

				DAVID
		Oh really.  What do your people 
		do for recreation?

	Myra looks at David, obviously reading his 
	thoughts by Mental telepathy, then she smiles.

				MYRA
		You're in love with Arik's sister 
		aren't you David?

				DAVID
			(Smiling)
		I'm afraid I am.

				MYRA
		She's almost two hundred
		years old! 

				DAVID
		Yes, but she could live to be
		three-hundred years old.

				MYRA
		If your thinking of children, forget
		it, Lemurian women cannot conceive
		when they are that old.

				DAVID
		I wasn't thinking about children

				MYRA
		Lemurian women are two tightly
		wrapped for Atlantian men.

				DAVID
		What about Atlantian women, are
		they also too tightly wrapped 
		for Lemurian men?

				MYRA
		We originally are not of this world.

				DAVID
		Oh, really where are you from?

	Myra motions to David to sit on the large couch
	and upon sitting she snuggles up close to him.

				MYRA
		We are from the star system 
		called SIRIUS.
			
				DAVID
		Isn't that your leaders name?

				MYRA
		Yes, but that's his given name.
	
	Myra starts stroking his arm and kisses him
	on the neck.

				DAVID
		Don't you have a boyfriend?

				MYRA
			(looking at David)
		Don't you like me?

				MYRA
		Of course I like you, but.

	David's words are cut short when she pushes him on
	down on the couch and kisses him passionately. When
	he comes up for air, he changes the subject.

				DAVID
		Myra, eh, where did your people
		get the Egyptian Pyramid from, 
		the middle east?

				MYRA
		Pyramid? 

				DAVID
		Yes, this building.

	She snuggles up to him, kissing him again.

				MYRA
		Oh, the PROPUGNACULUM. We call
		them props!

				DAVID
		Yeah, is that the Latin 
		word for Pyramid?

				MYRA
			(looking in his eyes)
		Yes, it's our design for a 
		safe place to live.

				DAVID
		Oh, I thought it was an Egyptian
		design?

				MYRA
		My people were building Pyramids
		before we established the Egyptian
		race.

				DAVID
		Did you establish the Lemurian
		race too?

				MYRA
		The Lemurian race, that's funny.

				DAVID
		Why?

				MYRA
		I thought you knew?

				ARIK
		Knew what?

	Arik and Myra look up and see Jenna Mu
	walk in the room. David is very happy and
	Myra is glum. He gets up off the couch
	and embraces Jenna.

				DAVID  
		Oh Jenna, I'm so glad to see
		you, I thought something had
		happen to you!

				JENNA  
		I see you were being entertained
		by one of the vestal virgins.

				MYRA
		Hi Jenna, how are you?

				DAVID
		Oh, you know each other?

				JENNA
		Myra, will you leave us for 
		a few minutes, I need to 
		talk to David.

				DAVID
		Knew what, Myra?

	Myra looks up seeing Jenna, and 
	speaking to her by mental telepathy.  

				MYRA  
		Lemurians are the original race 
		in this park of the Galaxy.
		They are Gods, we are not!

				JENNA  
		Gods without a kingdom.

	Sirius walks into the room and places his arm around
	David in a friendly gesture. 

				SIRIUS
		Children, Arik will be very busy
		this evening, so I suggest all 
		of you go to the recreation room 
		and relax.  Myra will give you
		the location of the bedroom or 
		bedrooms you will require.
	
				MYRA
		Will you to follow me to the
		recreation room, it's just a
		short way from here.

				SIRIUS
		David, I will send word to you and
		Jenna when Arik is finished with
		our little project. Then you are 
		all free to go.

				DAVID
			(looking at Sirius)
		I have some burning questions, can
		you answer them, or is there
		someone else that can, I'm a
		scientist.

				SIRIUS
		Oh, but of course we will send you
		one of our scientists so all your
		questions will be answered.

				DAVID
		Thank you, Sirius..

				JENNA
		Lead the way Myra.

	David and Jenna follow Myra down a long 
	hallway and stop at a large archway 
	leading into a very large richly decorated
	recreation room. Several couples are seen
	drinking and eating. Myra points to a small 
	cove area and she directs them to sit down.
	A nice looking young man is seen approaching
	them with what appears to be some kind of 
	a recording device. He looks at David and 
	extends his hand for a handshake.

				MYRA
		David, this is our chief historian, JOREL.
		JOREL, this is David, a scientist from
		the outer world, and of course you already
		know Jenna, our resident Goddess.

	Everyone sits down and drinks are served by 
	a waiter.
		
				DAVID
		JOREL, where do the ATLANTIANS 
		LEMURIANS come from.

				MYRA
		I told him we are originally from
		the TWIN STAR SIRIUS.

				DAVID
		Yes, she did say that but when,
		why and how?

	Myra looks at David, obviously reading his 
	thoughts by Mental telepathy, then she smiles.

				MYRA
		David's in love with Jenna, so when
		you scan his thoughts and you get 
		the Jenna wave, that is why? I pick
		it up all the time when he looks
		at her.

				DAVID
			(Smiling)
		I'm afraid she's right.

				MYRA
		She's almost two hundred
		years old, but he likes
		mature Goddesses.  

				JENNA
		Thank you Myra for that 
		brilliant observation.

				MYRA
		If you will all excuse me, 
		I'm past due for my nightly 
		chess game.
			(She leaves the room)

				DAVID
		When did your people first migrate
		to this planet?

				JOREL
		The Lemurians were Gods on THE 
		PLANET LYRA of our STAR SYSTEM
		SIRIUS. The ATLANTIANS were
		brought here to provide all 
		the necessary technology required 
		to develop a planet, just coming
		out of an Ice Age. The date was I
		believe, about 4500 BC.

				DAVID
		What was the reason for your 
		peoples migration to this planet?

				JOREL
		Let us begin in the LYRAN system
		back when our civilization was 
		flourishing and new cultures were
		exploding throughout the cosmos.
		The planet EDEN is referred to as
		the mother planet of the ancient 
		LYRAN race. This planet was very 
		similar to Earth.

				DAVID
		Did the people look like us?

				JOREL 
		The beings on it were a mixture 
		genetically just like you are,
		because the early LYRAN races
		had already begun to colonize.
		ADEN was a melting pot for the
		genetics of the LYRAN races.

				DAVID
		Did they speak different languages?

				JOREL
		Yes they did. Their society manifested 
		a great deal of individuality and
		unpredictability. These qualities
		were even more pronounced than upon
		present day Earth people.

				DAVID
		A real cross section, hey!

				JOREL
		Oh yes, there were pacifists,
		warriors, Scientists and
		those who rejected technology
		in favor of inner spirituality.
		Their culture flourished for many
		thousands of years. However, way
		beneath the surface of the mass
		consciousness there was also a
		great deal of disharmony because 
		the spiritual growth of the planet
		did not parallel the technological 
		growth of its inhabitants. The gap
		began to widen. On the surface of 
		the planet cataclysm began with 
		severe toxicity and severe 
		radiation from atomic blasts even
		more destructive than on your planet
		today.

				DAVID
		This all sounds like our planet, Earth.

				JOREL
		The atmosphere began to deteriorate
		and plant life was shortly thereafter
		unable to produce enough oxygen to 
		continue the cycle of carbon dioxide,
		oxygen which kept the ecosystem balanced. 
		They were faced with a dilemma. Their 
		population was decreasing. It became 
		obvious that they had to prepare for 
		planetary catastrophe as well as the 
		possible death of their own species. 
		They thus began turning to cloning 
		techniques so they would not be 
		dependent on the birth process. Then 
		they could actually reproduce their 
		species in the laboratory without the 
		need for the reproductive act, conception,
		or natural birth. They assumed this 
		knowledge would take care of them 
		and they would be ready for anything. 

				DAVID
		They really saw it coming, didn't they?

				JOREL
		Many LYRANS were dying from various 
		diseases resulting from radiation or
		air pollution. They knew this was the
		time to move to another planet, which
		they decided would be Earth. Gradually
		individuals wrapped up their business
		on their mother planet and began to
		migrate to the planet Earth. This
		was a great shock to many. Imagine
		knowing that you could never could
		return to your home planet for the
		rest of your life. Imagine the
		fear and sorrow these people were
		experiencing. Eventually, they all 
		migrated to Earth. Through their
		cloning capabilities, which they 
		had been working on for hundreds 
		of years, they began to create
		a new species very much like them 
		and this was us, the Atlantians.

				DAVID
		Oh, really, how profound.

	Jenna looks at David, obviously reading
	his mind, she snuggles up close to him.

				DAVID (Cont.)
		After all of this, why did you 
		all settle down here at the
		bottom of the world in all 
		this ice and water?.

				JOREL
		Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you knew!
		We're down here because of the 
		POLAR SHIFT.

				DAVID
		Polar shift, what polar shift?

	Jenna starts stroking his arm and kisses him
	on the neck.

				JENNA
		Don't worry David we are safe here!

				JOREL
			(looking at David)
		In about five months, exact date
		being May five, year 2000 the Earth
		will go through a polar shift that
		will destroy most of it. Only the
		people living at the pivot points,
		North and South Pole will survive.

				DAVID
		You're serious aren't you?

	David's words are cut short when they hear a very
	large bang then vibration then another bang and
	then nothing.

				DAVID (Cont.)
		What the hell was that?

				JENNA
		They just fired MIRACLES 

				DAVID
		Oh my God, I hope we're ok!

	She snuggles up, kissing him again.

				JENNA
		Good, now we can go home!

				JOREL
		Yes, I'm sure everything went well?

				DAVID
			(looking at JOREL)
		Yes, you were talking about 
		the Polar Shift.

				JOREL
		You see your Earth goes through 
		a very complete change every six 
		thousand years?

				DAVID
		You say the Atlantians were
		clones of the Lemurians?

				JOREL
		Yes, except for one trait that can't
		be cloned. The Lemurians life span 
		varies anywhere from two hundred
		to three hundred years, where the
		Atlantians life span varies from 
		sixty to eighty years.

				DAVID
		Why?

				JOREL
		We don't know. Some believe the
		longevity part of the Lemurian 
		race is Godlike.

				DAVID
		They are gods?

	David and Jorel look up and see Arik and Sirius
	walk in the room. Arik is very happy and he
	telepathically informs Jenna, they are now 
	free to go.

				DAVID  
		Arik it's good to see you, how
		did the test go?

				ARIK  
		Everything went well, so we are 
		free to leave.

				SIRIUS
		Yes, you are all free to go.
		Thank you again for your help
		Arik.

				DAVID
		Ok, let's go before they change
		there mind.

				JENNA
		Sirius, what are your people
		planning to do about the Polar
		Shift.

				SIRIUS
		We are going to use MIRACLES to
		start breaking up the ice, so 
		it can naturally melt away in
		the normal ice flow channels 
		that are now established?

				DAVID  
		Wonderful, what a great idea!

				JENNA  
		That's the best news I've heard 
		in years. Let's go home guys
