Sonic72's Aladdin Page
Why, you lucky traveler you, you've managed (probably by accident) to stumble into my Aladdin page. If you thought I needed professional psychiatric help after you saw the first page, just wait until you see this one. Of course, if you're an Aladdin fan you'll be in heaven here, but if you're not, I recommend you go back, because this page is devoted to one thing and one thing only: ALADDIN!
Okay, now here are some profiles of various Aladdin characters:
Aladdin
Aladdin is the main character of the Aladdin series, a teenager who falls madly in love with a princess (Jasmine), but there is a law that says that only a prince can marry a princess, so when Aladdin finds a magic lamp (containing Genie), he uses his first wish to become a prince. He eventually wins the princess when he defeats the evil Jafar and learns to accept who he is and stops trying to be something he's not. Aladdin eventually becomes an adventurer in the cartoon series and dozens of times he must again learn that first lesson: believe in yourself.
Jasmine
Jasmine is the princess of Agrabah. She is a headstrong teenager who refuses to marry a prince (she describes princes as overdressed and self-absorbed) even though the law says she must marry a prince. She falls in love with Aladdin, but the guards haul Aladdin away to be "beheaded" before she even gets to know his name. When Aladdin returns as Prince Ali, she falls in love with Ali too, but when Jafar takes the lamp and becomes a powerful sorcerer, Aladdin must save Jasmine before she dies in an hourglass created by Jafar. He saves her, of course, and their love endures some rocky times during the cartoon series before they are finally married in Prince of Thieves.
Jasmine is one of the less well-defined characters of the series. In one episode she is madly in love with Aladdin and in the next she is angry with him. Two of her better episodes are:

The Secret of Dagger Rock
Genie
The Genie is probably the most important character in the entire series besides Aladdin. Aladdin found him in the Cave of Wonders and summoned him, and the Genie granted Aladdin three wishes:
1. Turning Aladdin into a prince
2. Saving Aladdin from drowning
3. The Genie's freedom
The last wish is the most important to Genie because according to Genie, freedom "would be greater than all the magic and all the treasures in all the world." The Genie is voiced by Robin Williams in the original Aladdin movie and in Aladdin and the King of Thieves. The Genie is mostly comic relief, and some of his comedy scenes are laugh-yourself-off-your-chair hilarious. His Rodney Dangerfield impression in the original movie ("I can't believe it, I'm losing to a rug") is sure to draw laughs from anyone who watches it, and he has some funny lines in the cartoon as well, even though he isn't voiced by Williams. One of his better skits in the cartoon is "The Brief History of Man" from The Secret of Dagger Rock episode Overall, the Genie and Iago make probably the best 1-2 comedy team in any cartoon anywhere.
Iago
Iago is the favorite Aladdin character of a great many people. He probably has the best one-line comedy of any character, and he occasionally has a heroic scene (for instance, he is the hero in the Return of Jafar). Mostly, though, he is comic relief, and he does a good job of it. Some of his lines are side-splitting humor, like "Where there's a Genie's brain, there's space to rent." Him and the Genie work best together. One of the better exchanges involving them is listed below:

Iago is voiced by Gilbert Gottfried.
