Chapter 7
Lucky and Nikolas got home at the same time.
"How's Elizabeth and Mrs. Hardy?" asked Nikolas.
"They're doing great. How's your aunt?" asked Lucky.
"Still in a coma, but getting close to waking up." said Nikolas.
"That's a good sign. Where's Mrs. Lansbury?" asked Lucky.
"She died in her sleep." said Nikolas sadly.
"I'm sorry, man." said Lucky as he put his hand on his shoulder.
"Thanks. Let's get inside and see how our sister is doing." said Nikolas.
They went inside and saw Luke crying. None of them had ever seen him cry before. Lucky sat down next to him and hugged him. Nikolas stood there for a moment thinking of his father and then went upstairs to check on Lulu.

Jax and V had arrived at her house.
"You have a huge house for someone who lives alone." said Jax.
"When I saw it I just couldn't say no to it. It was so beautiful and secluded. It's like a little castle." said V smiling.
Then there was a knock at the door and V went to answer it. It was AJ.
"Hi, I need a place to stay for awhile." said AJ.
"Sure, come on in." said V.
"Aren't you staying at the Brownstone?" asked Jax.
"Bobbie didn't have enough room." said AJ.
"How did you know where I lived?" asked V.
"I was on my way to see Carly when I saw you entering this house. I didn't know you lived two doors down from Carly." said AJ.
"Neither did I. Why don't you two sit down and relax while I get some coffee." said V.
"You know how to make coffee?" asked Jax in disbelief.
"Don't be so surprised. There's a lot of things I can do that you don't know about." said V smiling.

"They have a small cottage close to Brenda's that they could rent us." said Felicia.
"Good, let's get the girls and get some sleep." said Mac.
They left his office.
"Taggert, keep me informed about those suspects." said Mac.
"I will, sir." said Taggert.
Then they left the PCPD.

On the jet Tony fell to the ground bleeding to death.
"Never go against a gangster's word." said Marino as he put the gun back in his pocket.
"Good work." said Helena smiling.
"No prob. That guy was useless and besides he would've sold us down the river." said Marino.
"One less person to worry about." said Sonny over the intercom.
"I REALLY hate him." said Marino angrily.
"Calm yourself, Marino. You may get forty years if you're lucky." said Sonny over the intercom.

"I really want to thank you for letting us stay here. They're starting to rebuild the mansion and gatehouse." said Monica.
"No problem, but I heard the city is rebuilding everything." said Bobbie.
"Me too. Nearly half of the city needs to be rebuilt." said Reginald.
"When are the services?" asked Emily quietly.
"We don't know, honey." said Monica.
"From what I hear it's either tomorrow or the day after that." said Alan.
"I hope Ned will be there." said Emily.
"I don't think so." said Jerry.
"Why not?" asked Bobbie.
"He won't leave Alexis's side until she wakes up." said Jerry.
"Only a miracle can wake her up." said Reginald.
They finished eating their lunch in silence.

Jason brought Michael down.
"He couldn't sleep, but I explained to him what happened." said Jason.
Carly took Michael from Jason as they sat down on the couch together.
"Is he sad?" asked Carly.
"A little." said Jason.
"Don't be sad, Mr. Man because everything is going to be alright." she said to Michael.
Jason got up to leave.
"Where are you going?" she asked.
"I need some time alone." he said.
"Okay. Jason?" she called.
"Yeah?" he asked.
"I love you and I'm very sorry." she said.
He gave her a weak smile and then left. She sighed and she played with Michael.

Ned was watching Alexis when he saw her hand move. He took her hand and squeezed it. She slowly opened her eyes, but quickly closed them because the light was too bright.
"Open your eyes, Alexis." said Ned.
She opened them up and he hugged her. A soft moan of pain escaped her lips.
"I'm sorry." he said.
"It's okay. What happened and what am I doing here?" asked Alexis.
"There were explosions throughout the city and you were in one of them. You've been in a coma for almost two days." he said.
"Oh my God! I've got to see Nikolas and Stefan." she said panicking.
She tried to get out of bed, but he stopped her.
"You're not ready to leave the hospital yet. I'll call Nikolas and V." he said.
"What about Stefan?" she asked.
He shook his head and she cried. He held her tight.
"Who else didn't make it?" she asked softly.
"My grandparents, Justus, Robin, Laura, Amy Vining, Ruby Anderson, and a lot of other people." he said.
"This can't be happening. I'm going to kill that old witch." she cried angrily.
"What are you talking about?" he asked.
"This has Helena's name written all over it." she said.
She tried to get up again and he made her lay back down again.
"Stress isn't good for the baby." he said.
"You found out." she said looking down at her hands.
"The doctor told me." he said.
"I'm prepared to raise this child on my own since you don't....since you don't love me." she said sadly.
"That's not true." he said.
"Then why are you here?" she asked.
"I NEVER stopped loving you. I want to be a part of OUR baby's life and yours." he said.
"I don't know, Ned." she said softly.
"How can I make it up to you? What do I have to do to convince you?" he asked.
"Nothing because I never stopped loving you." she said softly.
He cupped her chin to make her look at him.
"I promise you I shall never be a jerk like that again. I am very sorry for what I have done. You have to believe that because I love you." he said.
"I love you too, Ned." she said as a few tears fell.
He kissed her as he tasted her tears on her lips and then he wiped away her tears. She hugged him close to her not wanting to let go.
"I'm going to call Nikolas and V." he said.
'First get me a nurse because I want to get out of here as soon as possible." she said.
"Okay." he smiled.
He went out of the room to get a nurse and then he called Nikolas and V.

Mac, Felicia, and the girls arrived at the small cottage.
"It's beautiful." said Felicia gasping.
"Hey, mom, check out the backyard." said Maxie.
They went out into the backyard and saw the woods.
"Wow!" said Mac.
"Mommy, are we going to live here?" asked Georgie.
"Are we, mom?" asked Maxie.
"Ask your father." said Felicia.
"Yeah, sure." said Mac.
"Why don't you two go play, but don't wander too far." said Felicia.
They started to run around and laughing.
"So should we buy the house?" asked Mac.
"Why not? It's perfect." said Felicia.
"I'll call the realtor." said Mac.
Felicia smiled and explored the rest of the house.
