"Who was that?" asked Lucky.
"Ned. My aunt is awake." said Nikolas.
"I knew she was a fighter." said Luke.
"Do you mind if I take Lulu to see her?" asked Nikolas.
"No, go ahead. I think my father and I need some time alone." said Lucky.
"Thanks. I'll get her ready." said Nikolas.
He went upstairs to get Lulu.
"Dad? Dad, it'll be okay." said Lucky.
"I never got to tell her I loved her." said Luke.
"I think she knew." said Lucky.
Luke looked up, his eyes were all red and he looked over at their family portrait.
"Things will never be the same." said Luke.
"Hey, V." said Ned into the phone.
"Hey, what's up?" asked V into the phone.
"She's awake." said Ned.
"I'll be over in a minute." said V.
She hung up the phone.
"I'll be right back." said V.
"Where are you going?" asked Jax.
"Alexis is awake." said V smiling.
"I'm coming with you." said Jax.
"No. You have to relax and keep AJ company." said V.
Then she left the house.
"So what's new?" asked AJ.
"Why do I have a feeling you're going to pry?" asked Jax.
AJ smiled and shrugged his shoulders as Jax laughed.
"Okay. I'll tell them." said Jerry.
He got off the phone and walked back into the living room.
"Who was that?" asked Bobbie.
"V." said Jerry.
"What did she want?" asked Monica.
"Alexis is awake." said Jerry.
"That's great news." said Alan.
"Miracles really do happen." said Reginald smiling.
"Can we go visit her?" asked Emily.
"Sure. Why don't we all go." suggested Monica.
"I'll get Lucas." said Bobbie.
"I'll bring the car around." said Reginald.
"Uh, Reginald, we don't have a limo anymore." said Emily.
"Sorry, I forgot." said Reginald smiling.
They all laughed as they got into two separate cars.
Jason was at the bridge thinking of Robin. He couldn't believe she was gone and all because someone thought it would be fun to blow up the hospital. He looked out at the area and cried.
"This is driving me crazy. I'm gonna kill him." said Marino.
Before he could do anything he heard a shot. It came from the cockpit. He rushed in and saw Ari dead. Sonny was gone and they were going to crash. Helena ran in.
"Do you know how to fly a plane?" asked Marino.
"No, do you?" asked Helena.
"Nope. Nice knowing you Helena." said Marino.
Sonny parachuted onto the runway for the Port Charles airport. The cops had arrived just in time.
"Well, well, Corinthos, you finally did something good." said Taggert.
"I did it because they murdered my friends." said Sonny.
Then the plane came towards the runway. It skidded around and crashed into a wall as it burst into flames.
"Let them suffer." said Sonny to the firemen.
"Should we listen to him?" asked a fireman to Taggert.
"Ten minutes before you hose down the jet." said Taggert.
At Mercy Nikolas arrived with Lulu.
"Hi, aunt Alexis." said Nikolas.
"Hey, come here and give me a hug." said Alexis.
He hugged her as Ned looked on.
"And who is this?" asked Alexis smiling.
"This is my sister Lulu." said Nikolas.
"Hi, Lulu." said Alexis smiling.
"Say hi to your aunt Alexis." said Nikolas.
He sat her on the bed next to Alexis.
"Hi, aunt Alexis." said Lulu shyly.
"Hi, how are you?" asked Alexis smiling.
"I'm fine. Did you get hurt?" asked Lulu warming up to her.
"Yeah, I got hurt." said Alexis.
"I hope you get better." said Lulu.
"Me too." said Alexis.
Lulu gave her a hug and Alexis smiled.
"Mommy always says that hugs helps make things better." said Lulu.
"Well, your mommy is very wise." said Alexis.
"Nikolas, where's mommy?" asked Lulu.
"She had to go away." said Nikolas.
"Where?" asked Lulu.
He didn't know what to say.
"Lulu, she went to heaven." said Alexis gently.
"I know that place. Mommy says you go there when you die. Is mommy dead?" asked Lulu.
"Do you remember the explosion?" asked Nikolas.
She nodded her head.
"Stefan and mommy died in the blast and Mrs. Lansbury died today in her sleep." said Nikolas.
"Oh. I'm going to miss mommy a lot, but she's in a good place where the sun always shines." said Lulu as a few tears fell from her eyes.
Alexis hugged the little girl.
"Everything is going to be okay because you still have your daddy and your brothers." said Alexis.
"And Elizabeth and Emily." said Nikolas.
"And you?" asked Lulu to Alexis.
"Yes, and me." said Alexis smiling.
The little girl curled up next to Alexis and fell asleep. Alexis put an arm around her as the two men smiled at them. Just then V knocked on the door and Ned got up to answer it.
"Hey, V." said Alexis.
"Hey, Natasha. It's good to see you awake." said V smiling.
Alexis looked at both Ned and Nikolas.
"Ned, told me." said V.
"Should we tell her the story?" asked Nikolas to Ned.
"Why not?" said Ned.
"What story?" asked Alexis.
"While you were in a coma you called out for your mama." said Ned.
"And I pretended to be your mom." said V.
"And I pretended to be your father." said Nikolas.
Alexis laughed.
"So, who were you?" asked Alexis smiling.
"I was me, but you didn't know who I was." said Ned.
Her face fell as she played with the little girl's hair.
"In fact we almost lost you. Twice in fact. You wanted to go into the light with your family, friends, and the people who died in the explosions. Then Katherine tried to get you into Hell, but Brenda saved you. Even in death she's still saving people, but you still wanted to follow the light." said Ned.
"Why didn't I go?" asked Alexis.
"We argued." said Ned smiling.
Alexis laughed.
"Then I bargained with you to go to sleep instead." said Ned smiling.
"Really? That's interesting." said Alexis smiling.
"Hey, is this a good time?" asked Bobbie poking her head in.
"More visitors?" asked Alexis.
"More than that. The Quartermaines are here." said Bobbie.
"Even Junior?" asked Ned.
"He's at my house." said V.
"What?" asked Ned incredously.
"Ned, I have a big house with enough room for AJ, Jax, you, and Alexis. Besides, he had nowhere else to go." said V.
"Fine." said Ned.
"We better leave." said V.
"Ned, will you stay with me?" asked Alexis.
"I'll be back. I think you should be alone with your guests." said Ned.
"Okay." said Alexis smiling.
He kissed her a V and him left.
"I'll take Lulu with me." said Nikolas.
"No, no, she's fine." said Alexis.
"Alright, but I'll be back for her." said Nikolas smiling.
He left the room as Bobbie, Jerry, and Lucas came in.
