Unfortunately the fact is, that the last couple of series of Heartbreak High were financed by foreign television stations. Although United Kingdom television station BBC supported the show through thick and thin from the beginning, even when certain channels in Australia dropped it, in 1998 it decided it didn't want the series in its schedules anymore and therefore stopped buying the show, so ABC couldn't afford recording any more episodes and the show came to stop. Although Heartbreak High was sold to over 80 countries in the beginning, the later series were bought by far less of them. So in spite of rumours saying that new episodes of Heartbreak High are being recorded, the fabulous episode 210 actually is the end of the series. Recording Heartbreak High ended for good in december 1998. Now that really causes a heartbreak!
