Here's what happened to the people that left Hartley High and Hartley Heights High…
Chaka Cardenes left Hartley High because she moved to Darwin with her parents, brother and sister. She finished her HSC and planned to do a hospitality course at TAFE after it. In the meantime, she has visited her relatives in El Salvador.
Christina Milano, a teacher at Hartley High, left because he lover Mack asked her to come with him to Indonesia, where he works ten months a year in the aid to the developing countries, to help the people there.
Nick Poulos started boxing and tragically died in the boxing ring, due to a cracked blood vessel in his brain. His friends still miss him terribly, but they do have warm memories left of the great, funny and generous guy he was.
Rose Malouf married Jack at seventeen, a few months after giving birth to their baby daughter Tess, and is currently busy trying to combine a social work degree and motherhood, and trying not to overdose on "Bananas in Pyjamas" in the process.
Jack Tran married Rose when he was still at school. He got into medicine but deferred so he could work in his uncle's restaurant more often. He is determined to save some money so he and Rose, and their kid Tess, won't have to live with Rose's father forever!
Yola Fatoush, the popular school counsellor, left with Bill Southgate, a teacher, to build up a new life after her love cop Joe died. Bill became the principal of a school and Yola continued her counselling there. She was pregnant with Joe's kid when she left, and she and Bill seemed to have something nice going on between them too!
Jodie Cooper is busy becoming London's next big thing. She's on the publicity circuit promoting her recently released CD, keeping fifteen year old fans at bay and, every now and again, longing for her so-called carefree days at Hartley High.
Peter Rivers set up a house with his former teacher at Hartley High, Sam Robinson, in down town Mackay. She's resumed teaching and he's done his HSC at TAFE. As Sam has traded in her beloved motor bike for a station wagon, could there be a baby on the way?
Steve Wiley, the Ruling Dude that everyone loved, sweet and sensitive and about every girl's dream guy, sadly died in an accident doing what he loved most: taking photographs. He's highly missed by all.
Con Bordino left for LA with on an exchange program, but quit school there and got married. Later on he divorced his wife Stephanie, but not before he got his green card! He's too busy being real estate agent to the stars in Beverley Hills to be weighed down by a broken heart.
Allie Matts had her first novel published, got pregnant of teacher Tom Summers and went to London with a scholarship for young writers. She came back to Australia to give birth to her son, named Steven after Allie's late brother, then packed her bags and fled the big smoke of Sydney for the fresh air and slow pace of country town life. With the aid of a young writer's grant, she is currently working on a collection of short stories, while her mum plays nanny to baby Steven.
Danielle Miller went away to Wollongong to work for a local TV station. After that she's been living in Bathurst, leading the typical life of a university student: after a few years of working hard, playing hard, Danni is through her Communications degree. She got a placement with a local paper and is reporting livestock auction results. It's a small start, but she's confident she'll work her way to the top before too long.
Matt Logan parted ways with his girlfriend Stassy soon after passing his HSC big time and leaving with her, and found work on an Island Resort, working as a porter. The sun, scenery and lifestyle are pretty hard to take, but Matt is no longer in a hurry to get back to Sydney and start University.
Stassy Sumich broke up with Matt, fell in love with Bolton on the rebound and headed south soon after. The couple is now living in Melbourne, where she is designing her own label. Her clothes are selling like hot cakes at weekend market stalls around the city, where Bolton sells them.
Alan Bolton found got a job offer in Canberra after organising a succesful party, but the job turned out to be a fizzer, and so he travelled north. He met up with Stassy and Matt and was there to 'support' Stassy when she and Matt split up. He followed Stassy down south and is now living happily ever after with her, running her market stalls.
Declan Costello quit Hartley shortly after starting to redo his HSC. He studied at Bathurst C.A.E. to become a nurse. The course hasn't been easy for him, but Declan is determined to succeed. And knowing him, he will.

Lee Delaine didn't feel comfortable at Hartley Heights High anymore, so he and his mum Jill decided to transfer.
Anita Scheppers married her boyfriend Drazic.
Bogdon Drazic proposed to his girl Anita, and shortly after that they got married.
Thania Saya wants to go to uni to study psychology after redoing her HSC at Hartley Heights High.
