Nico Lathouris

Nico Lathouris played Grease Rat in Mad Max in 1979, Yannis in The Young Wife in 1984, Andre in television series Emerging in 1985, a bystander in Georgia in 1988, Amos in Father in 1989, Ted Minter in Jigsaw and a hot dog man in Heaven Tonight, both in 1990, and Mustafa in Death in Brunswick, aka Nothing to Lose. Then in 1993 he appeared in The Heartbreak Kid, and before appearing in the Heartbreak High, the series based on that movie, Nico played Rocco Petri in Gino in 1994.

Nico plays George Poulos in Heartbreak High, but he was the young actors' drama coach throughout series 1, 2/3, 4 and 5 as well. He helped the inexperienced actors to play their characters the best they could. Therefore he also was kind of a father figure to many of them on set.
