Then he played uncredited lieutenant Pol Treidum in the first one of the notorious Star Wars films: Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope, in 1977. Further, Peter played Dowie Steed in The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith, the USA version of And Millions Will Die, in 1978, Reg in Middle Age Spread in 1979, he had a role in The King of the Two Day Wonder in that same year, he played Tewson in The Survivor in 1981, Mr. Dimitros in Run, Rebecca, Run and Bill Hayden in television mini series The dismissial, both in 1983, appeared in mini series All The Way in 1988, played Gorman in Seeing Red, Reverend Clem Green in television series Cluedo and Buzz in Survive The Savage Sea, all three in 1992, Mr. Kennett in mini series Spellbinder in 1995, then principal Les Bailey in Heartbreal High, and after that he appeared in Moby Dick in 1998, as captain Gardiner.
