Vince Poletto

 

Vince was born in Townsville, Queensland, Australia, on August 15 1972. He grew up in Giru, a small farmers' town in North Queensland. When Vince was 17 and almost done with high school, he first considered starting acting. After passing his HSC, he moved to Sydney and studied at NIDA acting school for three years, hoping to get just as succesfull as other people who studied at NIDA, Mel Gibson and Judy Davis. After his graduation at NIDA he started playing the character of Matt in Heartbreak High.

After he decided to persue his career in the USA he worked on several soaps there. From December 1996 to May 1997 he appeared in television series All My Children as Tanner Jordan, in 1997 he played rich boy Francis who insisted to be called Rocky, in Spank, and in 1998 Wayne Marshall in Sally Marshall Is Not An Alien; both are movies that didn't get such good critics. Vince also played Romeo in the Jackie Chan action movie Mr. Nice Guy, which was filmed in Melbourne.

Vince is 1,80 metres tall. In his spare time, he practices martial arts; he's a major sports enthusiast. He currently lives in New York, and believe it or not, is single.
