SEASON II (1965-1966)
 
Episode 34: FLIPPER AND THE MERMAID

Flipper finds a new friend when he rescues an oceanographer from 
a barracuda. Scientist Ulla Norstand needs help again when she is 
trapped underwater by a sunken buoy. 

Episode 35: DOLPHIN PATROL
The dolphin takes courage in hand and braves a school of
killer sharks.
Sandy and Bud are exploring an underwater shipwreck when they are 
trapped by a school of killer sharks. Flipper is unsuccessful in 
summoning Porter Ricks to come to their aid, so gathers a pack of 
dolphins to take on the sharks. 

Episode 36: CORAL FEVER

A coral poacher setting underwater explosions causes Flipper to go 
deaf. When he pursues the poacher, Ranger Ricks is knocked unconcious 
by another explosion. His only hope of rescue is his two sons who are 
home caring for Flipper. 

Episode 37: FLIPPER IN PURSUIT Part I 
The Ricks family is marooned on a deserted island when a fugitive 
steals their motor launch. When the criminal captures Ulla and takes 
her submarine, hope of rescue is dim. 

Episode 38: FLIPPER IN PURSUIT Part II 
In the conclusion to this two-part adventure, Flipper leads Porter 
Ricks to his stolen launch, the fugitive, and his prisoner Ulla. 
In the confrontation, the fugitive pulls a gun and threatens Ulla's life. 

Episode 39: AIR POWER
The purchase of an air boat leads Sandy and Bud to launch a business 
offering tours of the everglades. The boys scout order Flipper to 
stay home while they scout routes through the heavy sawgrass, but 
when the dolphin disobeys and becomes trapped by the vegetation, 
the boys rescue him. 

Episode 40: FLIPPER AND THE BOUNTY

When the HMS Bounty docks in Coral Key Park, Bud sneaks aboard 
to explore. Trapped in the captain's cabin and exhausted, he falls 
asleep only to wake and find the ship underway. Flipper must alert 
the skipper before the schooner is out to sea. 

Episode 41: A JOB FOR SANDY 
Sandy's stint as a movie stunt man becomes treacherous when an 
underwater electric cable begins leaking. Powerful shocks knock Sandy 
unconscious and Flipper must convince the production manager to pull 
up the cable before more damage is done. 

Episode 42: FLIPPER AND THE HORSE THIEVES
	4/Dec/65
Horse thieves steal two show horses owned by a boy Bud meets on the beach. 
Bud gives chase and is trapped, with the stolen horses, on a boat 
headed out to sea. The only escape for the boy and the valuable horses 
is a swim through shark-infested waters. 

Episode 43: FLIPPER AND THE SHARK CAGE 
Bud attempts to earn money for a birthday present for his dad by raising 
and selling an iron shark cage he found while scuba diving. He becomes 
trapped in the cage, however, and three lives are in jeopardy when 
Porter and Sandy attempt a rescue with nearly-empty air tanks. 

Episode 44: ALLIGATOR DUEL 
Two unscrupulous film makers kidnap Flipper to film him battling two 
starving alligators. Held prisoner, Bud witnesses the attack and jumps 
into the middle of the fray to save his pet. 

Episode 45: DOLPHIN LOVE- Pt. 1

Romance blossoms between Flipper and a female dolphin, but Flipper must 
rescue her when she is mistaken for a shark and speared by Ted Marlowe. 
Porter comes to her aid, removing the spear and carrying her to surgery 
on his launch. 

Episode 46: DOLPHIN LOVE- Pt. 2

In part two of this drama, Flipper, distraught over his girlfriend's 
injuries, seeks retaliation against Ted Marlowe, the man who mistook 
her for a shark and speared her. As the Ricks and Flipper await news 
of the dolphin's condition, Marlowe worries about his punishment for 
hunting inside the park.

Episode 47: FLIPPER AND THE SPY 
 
Sandy and Flipper are duped into helping a spy recover secret instruments 
from a rocket. When they learn of the deception, they struggle valiantly 
to keep the data out of enemy hands. 

Episode 48: FLIPPER'S HOUR OF PERIL

	9/Oct/65 
Flipper becomes tangled in a cable attached to a dangerous floating 
mine and must rely on Sandy, Bud and Porter to free him. The situation 
becomes perilous when the mine drifts toward the rocky coastline and 
hope rests on the success of a helicopter airlift before the explosion.

Episode 49: FLIPPER JOINS THE NAVY Pt. 1.

A Navy trained dolphin has suffered a nervous breakdown, and a stay 
with Flipper at Coral Key Park is believed to be the antidote. But a 
half million dollar Navy project is in jeopardy when Tough Guy breaks 
out of his pen and runs away.
 
Episode 50: FLIPPER JOINS THE NAVY Pt. 2.

In the conclusion of this two-part story, the Navy and Coast Guard 
launch an extensive search for the missing dolphin. Tough Guy is 
finally found trapped on a reef where Bud and Flipper must save him 
before the tide comes in. 

Episode 51: FLIPPER, THE DETECTIVE

 A jewel thief poses as Park Ranger Porter Ricks to pull off a heist, 
and Porter is jailed for the crime. The truth isn't even clear to Sandy, 
Bud, and Flipper until they come face-to-face with the real criminal in 
a deadly underwater struggle.
 
Episode 52: GIFT DOLPHIN

Flipper saves the life of a young prince who is visisting the park.
Later Bud is stung by a scorpion and the dolphin must run to fetch
assistance.
When Flipper rescues a group of foreign dignitaries whose boat has run 
aground on a reef, the visitors attempt to persuade Porter to offer 
the dolphin as a gift between countries. Distress over the possible loss 
of his pet has life-threatening consequences for Bud.
 
Episode 53: FLIPPER'S ODYSSEY; Part 1

Flipper has disappeared and his adopted family goes looking for him,
but when one of the boys gets trapped in a cave, Flipper is his only
hope. 
Captured by fishermen who are stocking a new marine exhibit, Flipper 
is carried a thousand miles from home before he is able to escape. A 
news story about the dolphin's heroics along his journey home catch 
the attention of Sandy and Bud, who set out to investigate. 

Episode 54: FLIPPER'S ODYSSEY. Part 2

The Rick's family sails up the coast in search of Flipper, only to 
find he is gone. Just a few miles away Flipper is injured saving a 
dog from the jaws of an alligator and beaches himself.
 
Episode 55:  FLIPPER'S ODYSSEY. Part 3

Believing he has lost his pet, Bud grieves alone on the beach. Sighting 
a dolphin he thinks is Flipper, he follows only to become trapped in an 
underwater cave. As the tide comes in, Flipper is his only hope of rescue.
 
Episode 56: FLIPPER'S UNDERWATER MUSEUM

Ulla is entrusted with specialized sonar equipment, which is stolen 
by an industrial spy. Eluding Ulla and Porter, the criminal hides the 
device in Bud's underwater museum as Flipper looks on. When the spy 
returns for the equipment, Flipper is ready and waiting.
 
Episode 57: THE RACCOON WHO CAME TO DINNER
 
A park inspector angers everyone when he lectures Bud about turning 
wild animals into pets and questions Porter's ability as a park 
ranger. In retaliation, Bud and Flipper move the inspector's fishing 
boat into restricted waters on park property

Episode 58: JUNIOR RANGER
 
A Junior Ranger gets off to a bad start by mistaking Flipper for a 
shark and nearly shooting him, then blaming Bud for a launch accident 
he caused. But he redeems himself when Flipper helps him rescue an 
injured diver.
 
Episode 59: THE LOBSTER TRAP
Bud's bad judgment endangers Flipper when he discovers some classmates 
setting lobster traps before the season. Instead of reporting the 
problem, Bud and Flipper attempt to remove the traps themselves and a 
rock slide traps Flipper in a cave.
 
Episode 60:SHARK HUNT

Porter Ricks and Sandy hunt down a school of killer sharks that attacked 
Flipper. They find the Makos swimming with two divers that are unaware 
of the danger. They are all in jeopardy in the shark-infested waters.
 
Episode 61:  SLINGSHOT 
Ulla, Bud and a boy are trapped in a flooding canal
On the way home from a scouting jamboree, a deer causes Ulla to swerve 
off the road, plunging the car into a drainage ditch. Unable to break 
free of the truck, Ulla, Bud, and Bud's friend are trapped as the 
water level rises. Flipper is their only hope of rescue.
