HI...I am MOLLY and welcome to my GUIDING LIGHT page.
I have watched GL for 45 years....OOPS, that makes me really old, eh?
I am 50 and have turned into an internet junky. I have 5 other web pages that I maintain and it was just suggested to me,that I make a GL page.
There are SO many "COOL" GL web pages on the net, that I hesitate to enter into the game.
I surf all these pages regularly and am quite impressed with the uniqueness of each one.
I hope you will find a bit of humor and perhaps something you dont already know as you browse my little cornor of the "LIGHT".

This is me at the Port Betsy Lighthouse. This is supposed to be the lighthouse where the first picture was taken for the first GL logo. I can not prove this but I read it somewhere many years ago.

IN MY HUMBLE OPINION

THE BEST DAYTIME CAST ON TV.

MY NEW FAVORITE

MINI BIO

PAUL ANTHONY STEWART.... (Danny Santos)

Paul Anthony Stewart joined the cast of Guiding Light on November 11, 1998 in the role of Danny Santos, a man with questionable motives in his search for his brother’s killer. Danny’s involvement with Michelle Bauer (JOIE LENZ) threatens to shake-up her comfortable life and wreak havoc amongst her friends' lives.

Paul, who was born in Philadelphia and raised in nearby Wayne, Pennsylvania, made his Broadway debut as Christian in Cyrano. He is best known to daytime audiences for his portrayal of Casey Bowman on Loving.

Paul knew at a young age that he wanted to be a performer; as a result, he has appeared in school and community plays since kindergarten. The summer before his senior year at Radnor High School, Paul attended an acting program at Northwestern University, which convinced him to pursue the profession. After graduation, he headed for Princeton University, where he studied dramatic literature and drama, and minored in theater. His starring roles in Princeton productions include Cloud Nine, The Day Room, Cymbeline, Bent and Fanshen. During the summer months, he starred in numerous summer stock and regional plays, such Children of Eden, How it was Done in Odessa, Dancing With Miracles, Hair and The Most Happy Fella.

Immediately after graduation, Paul headed for New York where he quickly landed roles in White Water and Risorgimento. His other New York theater credits include Children of Eden, Until Day Breaks, Playing with Fire and Rivalry of Dolls.

In December, 1990, Paul earned his first film credit in Woody Allen’s film, Shadows and Fog. As “Student #1,” Paul appeared in scenes opposite Jodie Foster, Lily Tomlin and John Cusack. He later starred in the independent feature, Somewhere in the City.

Paul’s television credits include a lead role in CBS’s The Inheritance and guest-starring roles in The Hunger, Dream On and First Time Out.

A member of a close-knit family, Paul has two brothers. In his time away from the show, Paul enjoys biking and reading. He considers singing to be “a secondary sport.” His birthdate is February 23.

BEN WARREN

HUNT BLOCK

Filmography:
The Dirty Dozen - The Fatal Mission (1988)
The First Olympics - Athens 1896 (1984)

I am really ticked of at TPTB....

Loosing HUNT BLOCK is a major loss for the show.

I believe Mr Block was one of the most talented

actors to join GL in the last few years. He brought a
new mature character to the show
but one that has style, class and humor.
For the first time in a long while, I find my self
chuckling aloud at some of his words and actions.
he sure can say a lot with his eyes alone.
He really needs no dialog at times.

A note about the music.

Some of the music selections {from the 1930'S- 1940'S}, that you hear on the "GUIDING LIGHT" pages have been provided by:

We thank them for their expertise and hope you will visit their pages for a real listening treat.
