Lucy Coe first appeared on the GH scene in 1986, where she was the mousy librarian in PCU's library. After hours she transformed herself into the wild lover of the psychotic Kevin O'Conner. She has since writen a best selling novel about the events surrounding that affair.
After being impregnated by Bobbie(Spencer) Meyer's husband, Jake, Lucy offered to let the couple adopt her baby once it was born. Lucy suffered a miscariage. Dr. Tony Jones comforted her and in 1987, they were married. They later divorced.
Lucy, then, landed Dr. Alan Quartermaine. Lucy planned to concieve a Quartermaine heir, so she arranged to sleep with "a friend of a friend". With the dim lighting, Lucy didn't know until later that it was her pal, Scotty Baldwin! She did concieve, but when she was thrown out of Alan's house for her affair, she miscarried, again.
Lucy launched Deception in 1991, but fled to NY, when Dominique was named "the face of Deception" instead of Lucy. Returning in 1992, Lucy found her once heartbroken Scotty married to Dominique! Dominique dying, Lucy carried Dom & Scott's baby to term. Serena was born healthy, delivered in a snowbound cabbin by Scotty, himself! Scott left with Serena in tow, fearing for her safety, leaving Lucy to deal with a dual shot of heartbreak.
She now owns the successful Jax Cosmetics company.
In 1994, Lucy sought help from Dr. Kevin (Doc) Collins. The two fell in love and are currently still together.
Lucy, in recent months became pregnant with Kevin's Baby, and they got engaged.
Long lost "pal" Scotty Baldwin came to town, hoping to find his daughter with Lucy. With the help of Lucy and Kevin, Serena was found and reintroduced to her surrogate mother, Lucy. Due to all the stress in the early months of pregnancy, Lucy miscarried.
After her Doc mostly, successfully survived an explosion, the "New and Improved" Kevin asked Lucy to marry him and promptly passed out after her "yes." Kevin is now recovering from brain surgery quite nicely.
