Who is Bluedolphin?

My name is Linda, I grew up in the San Fernando Valley, (Los Angeles, California) attended John H. Francis Polytechnic High School (Poly) for two years and graduated from Cleveland High School. I attended Pierce College where my main focus was on American Sign Language.

After I graduated with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts I moved to Portland, Oregon, where I lived for seven years, and attended Portland State University. Upon graduation with a degree in Business Administration/Marketing, I moved back to Los Angeles, mostly because I was out of money and didn't have a job.

At the time my main interest was Marketing Research, I love to know what people are thinking and why. I later moved on to Purchasing, which is where I am today. I then spent several years working for a Radiopharmaceutical Company (Nuclear Medicine) located in Woodland Hills, California. In May of 1999 the stress and pressure of the fast paced life in Los Angeles became too much and I ran away/escaped to something more serene. I currently live near Raleigh, North Carolina.

As you might have guessed I am a diver. For years I had always wanted to take scuba lessons, but never got around to it, mostly because I didn't want to take the lessons alone. In April, 1994 I decided to take a basic scuba class and was certified May 15, 1994. I love to look around at all the critters, and hope one day to be able to take really great pictures.

Some of my other hobbies include: hiking, sailing, photography (please check out my gallery pages), movies, and theatre as well as travel to interesting dive destinations or remote locations. I trained for, and completed the 1995 LA Marathon, and completed the Long Beach Marathon one month prior, for practice (I wanted to know what 26 miles was really like). I would like to publicly thank the L.A. Leggers for providing such a wonderful training program. If it weren't for the support and training the Leggers provided, I would never have been able to accomplish it.

I have a cat named Kugel, who basically runs the place. I am single, and would love to meet a great dive buddy! If you know of anyone, please e-mail me!
