| This is the view of Igloolik through the inuksuk (pronounced "ee-nook-shook") atop the hillside overlooking the town. The green and yellow building at the far right is Ataguttaaluk High School, where my brother teaches. In front of the school is a light blue house (the principal's home) and in front of that is a green house, which is my brother's home. Wouldn't it be nice to live that close to work? |

| The strange round white building straight up from my brother's house is the Igloolik Research Centre, which is a government facility that supports scientific research, traditional knowledge, oral history materials and environmental monitoring programs. |
