You can chat on Yahoo without any client software, but be fore-warned the lag-monster thrives here. Once you're in type /join USA: Seattle:1 (Yahoo is set-up like AOL in that it limits the number of participants in each of the chatrooms, the G-rated rooms are limited to 25 chatters, the adult chat kicks out users once it hits beyond 99 chatters per highest use rooms.

IRC Chat via msn You can chat without any chat clients software on msn too, but the moof-monster lives here. Once in the MicroSoft Network, type /join #chatseattle to visit the room I chat in some nites & weekends or /join #vixen where I still have ops. Although, admittedly, I seem to be the only op who signs in anymore, shadowfax and antilles are BOTS.
This space reserved for the MSN #ChatSeattle webpage Koach's pIRCh help page This page Koach put together is great if you know programming enough to modify these progies -- I use pIRCh to chat in MSN, but there are lots of options for the MicroSoft Network . . . check it out for yourself!
pIRCh pIRCh is the program I use, because it makes sending sound & script files easier. You also can do file transfers directly in MSN instead of having to email files to people. Very convenient. If you know basic programming logic, this is an easy program to configure . . . even I managed it and I only know basic *hehee*.
