Welcome to Ben's MUSH Page

On this page you will find information about MUSHes (Multi User Shared Hallucinations), a variation of a MUD. MUSHes are a text based multi user environment for role-play and/or chatting. They are quite similar to MOOs and MUDs. The variation lies in that, unlike MOOs, most of the addins, such as a space simulator, are written into the server and not the database. This allows for projects such as HSpace and AttySpace, which use complex mathematical computations.

Recently, I've started to use only a few MUSHes. On most I travel under the user name Damnal. One of my favorite hangouts is ATS: TrekMUSH, though occasionally you'll find me on a few of my other haunts. If you are looking to get in touch with me try email me at damnal at gmail dot com

I've also been involved with work on HSpace4. I am Ben on Hspace Merchant Wars and I am currently working on several tutorials aimed at people who are just learning how to administrate HSpace 4 and HSpace 3. Soon you will find my automated HSpace class creator application here as well.

Well, recently I've become involved with AttySpace (the space system in use on ATS). The unofficial support page can be found here.
I've written a simple tutorial for AttySpace ship creation and it's related issues which is available here. Please note that the file is in Word 97 format.
In addition to writting a tutorial, I've also created a revised stock db for AttySpace.

1.0p1 - The most recent release of my stock db. Adds a boarding system, with a few bugs, in my oppinion.
1.0p0 - The initial release. Fixed many of the problems with Yarb and Mordak's db.
