| FINDING A MATE |
The easiest part! All you need is a female Anim'Riut and a male Anim'Riut to fall in love, desire children, and become mates! There are some rules, though. These are species rules that the 'Riuts have told me, not that I have told them. They follow them strictly....
| Dream 'Riuts mate ONLY with other Dreams. Silvers only mate with other Silvers, Shadows, or Smokes. Shadows, Smokes, Waters, Fires, and other Commons and Semi-Commons mate with any other 'Riut, with the above exceptions. (Custom 'Riuts are considered Commons) |
Remember this rule when ou go to find a mate for your 'Riut, or when your 'Riut chooses one.
Now that your Anim'Riut has found their soulmate, on to the next big step.....
| TYING THE KNOT |
Once your 'Riut has his/her mate, they must prepare their pages for the mating process to begin. The two 'Riuts must each have a link to their mate on their pages, and something saying they are mated to So-And-So. If the 'Riuts live on the same page, they must have something on the page that states that they are mates. After the links, etc are up and in working order, one of the two Riuts must come and fill out the form located on this page. There they will give their own name, URL, e-mail address, and type, as well as that of their mate. Make sure that the 'Riut who fills out this form know all of this info before filling out the form.
This will effectively register the two 'Riuts as permanant mates. 'Riuts do not know the meaning of divorce. After the form is recieved, I will e-mail both parties for confirmation. After confirmation has been recieved, both 'Riuts will recieve their 'Wedding Gift" - a marriage certificate stating they are life mates. Then, and only then, will their names appear on the "Current Mated Pairs" list at the very bottom of this page. From then, if the 'Riuts want to, they can apply to have a cropping here at the Grove! | CROPPING INFORMATION |
When two Anim'Riuts are fully confirmed mates, they can choose to have children, or orblets as they call them. Certain pairings produce a certain number of young ones. The chart bellow explains....
| Dream X Dream = 6 orblets, with 1 Dream. Silver X Silver/Smoke/Shadow = 5 orblets with 1 Silver. Silver/Smoke X Any Other = 4 orblets with 1 Rare. Commom/Semi-C. X Common/Semi C. = 3 orblets, all C./Semi-C. NOTE: Any C./Semi-C. X C./Semi-C. mating where two of the same 'Riut types are mated, will have 4 orblets, all C./Semi-C. |
To apply for a cropping, one of the 'Riuts must fill in the simple information below and send me the form. They will then be registered for the next available cropping season, and when the Grove is ready, their children will be fostered out.
If you have two 'Riuts whose partnership has been confirmed (their names are on the list at the bottom of the page) and want to register them to have children, this is the form to use.....
Once your form is recieved, "Clutch Pending" will appear by the pair's name on the "Mated Pairs" listing. When the Grove is ready to recieve their cropping, the two bondmates will be notified that they may reserve one orblet each of they would like. Once the bondmates have replied with a yes or no to the reservation, the rest of the orblets will go up for adoption to the public.
