Hi everyone.  Since I had so many people asking how to get rid of lag, I made a page to help out.

First, everyone get some lag sometimes.  You just cannot get around that.  But if you are getting a lot of lag all the time, then maybe some tweaking to your computer and to Tribes can make it better.

To start, a good ISP is paramount to good gaming.  AOL, free ISP such and NetZero and some regular ISP's just don't cut it.  Sometimes a change is needed to get rid of lag.  Ask your isp what their modem to user ratio is, and what kind of connection they have to the backbone.  If the ratio is much more than 10 users per modem, or if they aren't using multiple T1 lines or T3 lines, shop around for a new ISP.  A good place to look is The List

Ok, here's my disclaimer.  The following tweaks are what I use, I make no guarantee that this will work for you.  I will say the I have done these tweak to many, many computers and always get better connections with them.
