    Fanfics:

  • This is what our page is all about. It is basicly a combination of two words (which is not to hard to figure out.). Those two words are "fan" and "fiction." Basically a fanfic is a story (usually about an anime, cartoon, videogame, or any other subject) written by a fan of the subject. It is usually a continuation (after the end, of say a game) or a "what if" type story.

    Dragon Ball Z:

  • This is one of the sections of our fanfics. Bragon Ball Z (or DBZ) is a Japanese Animation, that was originally made in Japan (duh...). It is about a group of warriors that fight for the earth (and even other planets) against many powerful villians and there goons. It is the most popular of three series (Dragon Ball before, and Dragon Ball GT after).

    RPG:

  • An RPG is an abreviation for "Role Playing Game." And for those of you that don't know what a Role Playing Game is, it is a game (refer to Final Fantasy, or Lufia, or Secret of Mana, or Chrono Trigger, or any of the other thousands under this genre) where you take control of (usually one) a number of heroes and go on a "quest." The quests are usually different from game to game, but the direction is usually the same. Each game usually has an in-depth storyline, twists in plot, and other things to make one hell of a game. Now the question that you ask: So what does that have to do with fanfics? Well at the end of a game, the hero's go off and the game is over. With fanfics, authors can write about what they think happened after the game, or just more "what ifs."

    Squaresoft:

  • Squaresoft is a video game company. They are the one's responsible for the greatest RPG series ever known to man; Final Fantasy (1-8, and MQ, and many for game boy). They headquarters is in japan, and they export "most" of there games over here.

    Final Fantasy:

  • If you don't know what Final Fantasy (FF) is, well then.... Anyways, it is a series of games (1-8, Mystic Quest, and many for gameboy), that have spawned into the greatest RPG's of all time. There is an ongoing argument, which of the series is the best. It is usually a battle between FFIII (or FFVI, which is the japanese version) and FFVII, but just recently a eighth one has come out and it it has added ever futher turmoil to the argument.

    Genre:

  • Genre is basiclly a way to sort stories. There is humor, sci-fi, adventure, anime, horror, and misc.

    Humor:

  • Well this one is rather obvious, but here's what it is; a story that will most likely make you laugh. The End.

    Sci-Fi:

  • Alright, lets clear this up right now, Sci-Fi is not just things like Star Trek and Star Wars, where there is super advanced technology, and aliens. Sure that is a big part of it, but that is not all. Ever played or read the Resident Evil series? They are also Sci-Fi (also horror to, but more Sci-Fi then that). Sci-Fi stands for, Science Fiction, so lets break that down. Science; technology, research, study of something. Fiction; fake, made-up, not real. So if you put the two together, you get, Science that is not real. So basically it can be anything to do with science, and has to be fiction. So there, now all of you know exactly what Sci-Fi reall stands for.

    Adventure:

  • Adventure is basically Sci-Fi, but with out the science bit. Indiana Jones, Batman and Rainbow Six would be examples of Adventure stories.

    Anime:

  • Anime is a story written about a Japanese Animation. Shows like Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon and Tenchi are examples of Japanese animes.

    Misc (as a genre):

  • Misc stands for Miscellaneous, which means, an assortment. Stories go in this section, if they don't belong to any other section. Poems would go under this section.
