Welcome to my page. Here you will find a break down of various happenings in my adventures in the fifth age.
One day I might wwrite in depth, but for now, I'll give you a brief outline...
I also hope to name and profile all of the characters eventually...
All of these adventures have been published by TSR, so if you own these adventures, you'll get an idea of how i deviated...
Adventure One: Heroes of a New Age:
Players: One Geomancer, One Hydromancer Gnome, One Paladin, One Minotaur, One Centaur [female], One Dwarf.
The players were guarding a caravan. They were ambushed at one point by elves, whom were attacking other elves. The Gnome got shot in the leg
and the other players only nackered the leg further...
They were also attacked by Draconians, who were slaughtered... The players ran to the elven healer.
They finally reached a mountainous area, where they were attacked by various yetis and ice bugs.
The Paladin cooked, and his food killed one elf merchant, and gave everyone else diarhoea.
The party were fortunate in that the gnome had prepared for the trek by building a repeating ballista...
Which bleew up when he launched it at a dragon... Fleeing the dragon and an avalanch, the party were forced underground.
The gnome decided to make bull lanterns out of the paladins armour, and when the paladin attacked the gnome, the minotaur bashed the
paladin's brains [such as they were] onto the cavern wall]...
The party then attacked several ghouls, and finally reached Thorbardin...
The Gnome then persuaded the dwarves to let him use the holy item they were carrying [a powerful magic gem] to build a laser gun.
Sadly for me, he succeeded...
Adventure Two: The Rising Storm
Characters: A Barbarian, A Centaur, A Kender, A Kagonesti elf.
This adventure went fairly quickly. The party, after nearly setting fire to two towns, set off for a port town
Here they went across the waves, and got caught in the gale. This led to them believing, somehow, that that they were
being attacked by a large penguin, as they were attacked, in fact by Gellidus, who forced them to run aground.
The party were currently staying in a cosy room below deck, when a large baleful eye drew up close. Then a claw came in through the sides, and they were
forced to beat it off, and run up to the deck.
They made a short stop in Palanthus, before heading outside, towards a Dark Knight Camp they had heard about.
It was there that they found that humans were being kidnapped.
After freeing the humans, they travelled further west, and encountered a Farmhouse.
Here, they stopped, and were attacked by two Blue Spawn, who knocked two unconcious, before being killed by the party.
[The draconians, that is, were killed.]
At the end of the adventure, the party gain the Dragonlance used by the Heroes Of The Lance, and find that humans are being turned into Spawn.
Adventure Three: The Storm Over Krynn
Characters: A Hydromancer, A Barbarian, A domineering Mystic, A Kender, A Centaur, And A Gnome.
The party were staying in an inn near Palanthus. They over heard some screams, and left the Inn, whilst the Mystic accidentally dropped an explosive the Kender had offered him.
They saw a mercenary and a Dark Knight standing over a helpless barbarian girl, and the barbarian realised that she was a member of his tribe, who had been decimated and kidnapped by Blue Spawn.
Having defeated the mercenary and Dark Knight, the mercenary was allowed to leave after she told them of the whereabouts of their superior.
Who happened to be Khellendros...
They followed the directions into the desert, which was constructed of white flat sand, endless wate, which stuck in the mind of one of my players...
Anyway, they came across the cave of Khellendros, nicked some magic items, and left for Relgauth, where the Bastion of Darkness held a large Dark Knight Citadel..
The Mystic took a Dark Knights magic plate mail, which turned him to the ways of Takhisis, and made him cold, which freaked the other players.
To this day, they never touch Dark Knight armour...
The Kender took sme magic rings, and a short sword.
The Barbarian, who possessed the Dragonlance, took the shield of Huma, and some Solamnic Plate Mail.
The Hydromancer took some incredibly powerful Plate Mail, which even now protects him from vertially everything...
The centaur took some minor armour, and a ring.
The party reached Relgauth, where the 'Dark Knight' Mystic got them through by claiming they were prisoners.
They then swiftly wandered through to the Bastion of Darkness, which was constructed of Black Sand. Que Sand castle jokes...
In this castle, they were quickly captured, through no fault of their own.
The humans were forced to take part in spawning process, whilst the Centaur and Kender were imprisoned.
The Gnome wasnt actually with the party at this time.
In the spawning process, the players were forced to fight the other prisoners, which they did quite well.
They were also joined by the Centaur and Kender when the Kender unpicked their cell door lock.
During the fighting, several players were knocked unconcious as they escaped the Arena and were set upon by Draconians and Dark Knights.
Another casualty was the Female Centaur, whose fore left leg was chopped off. The party healers could have replaced the leg, but the Gnome decided against this.
So he built a mechanical steel leg for the Centaur.
When the Gnome did arrive in Relgauth, it was with a body of Dwarven warriors, a little gift from Thorbardin...
The gnome had taken the laser gun through the city gates by the process of illusion, and by hiding the machinery inside
a wagon. The Dwarves hacked apart several Knights, whilst the Gnome blew the citadel apart, raining ash upon Relgauth.
The other players happened to be underground, which enabled them to survive...
However, the Barbarian and the Centaur later disappeared mysteriously, whilst the
Kender managed to escape prison.
The party went to Verminaard in order to defeat a Dark Knight Camp they had heard about.
After many diversions, they eventually arrived.
At this camp, they rescued the brother of the little barbarian girl, and slew the foul dragon that was creating Spawn for Khellendros.
They also witnessed the ritual of Spawn creation, which I made to combine vaguely Werewolf elements, such as a ring of drums around a fire...
They traveled into the desert to meet with comrades [all the other characters mentioned in this page, with the exception of the late Solamnic.]
They encountered an agent of the Blue Dragon, who explained a plot to steal the magical artifacts of Krynn.
Adventure Four: A Killing Frost [where the action starts]
Characters: A Gnome, A Hydromancer, Two Arctic Barbarians, A Geomancer, A Kender, A Minotaur, A Noble Assassin, A Warrior, and A Pyromancer.
The party started a fight in Solace's Inn of The Last Inn, and ran to the Academy of Sorcery.
Previous events - the laser gun was stolen, and the Assassin gained a repeating Crossbow.
A Dark Knight camp was stormed, where the Pyromancer created a fire elemental, which was put out by the Hydromancer.
At the Academy, the Gnome whined, and was eventually left behind.
The party stormed a Dark Knight Port Town in order to gain a ship, battering don the city gates
and fireballing several buildings etc.
Eventually, a ship was stolen, after the dark knights onboard were killed.
The only remaining party members by this stage was an arctic barbarian, a pyromancer, and the hydromancer.
They made their way to Ergoth, where they hit The Gale, and were attacked by Gellidus.
This time, they concluded it was an aquatic bunny.
They were THROWN onto land, by the force of ice bolts etc.
They crashed into a Solamnic Town, where they fell unconcious, and recovered in.
They went on for their missions target - The Lance Of Huma.
They wandered on, and recovered it in the Tomb, where they met a friendly Gold Dragon.
Upon leaving the Tomb, they were attacked by Gellidus.
However, they fought back using the magical aura of the place, and attacked viciously.
First the Arctic Barbarian launched a hurricane to knock Gellidus backwards. Then The Arctic barbarian also launched a huge fireball.
The Hydromancer followed with a huge Water spout attack, and then the Gold dragon launched a fire attack.
Seeing their advantage, the party flew the Gold dragon at Gellidus, where they drove the Lance in...
And Gellidus died.
The island of Ergoth has been restored to its tropical state, and the Kagonesti are flooding back.
The White Dragons have fled, to find other lands, or to seek the lands of the Two Ice Twins...
The party returned to the Solamnic town, only to find it destroyed. However, they were able to save one knight, and not even
this tragedy prevented the celebrations across Krynn caused by the death of an Overlord.
The first sign of hope has begun to shine across Krynn.
And I can hear the players saying - 'Which one shall we kill next?'
For those of you who have Heores of Hope - well, you know...
Adventure Five: The Crown and the Serpent.
Characters: One Centaur, One Arctic Barbarian, One Hydromancer [who has a tendency to call random people elves...
This was a very slow adventure, with very little action, until the party trekked to Ak Khurman.
They were on a quest to find a port town so that they could reach Dimernesti, and the actual travelling was fairly boring.
When the party reached Ak Khurman, they were joined by the female Centaur (who has been a lesbian since Adventure Three for no apparent reason...)
The party travelled through the city, towards the market place, they were planning on finding the Legion of Steel headquaters, but they were
distracted when someone fired an arrow at the Centaur from the top of a building. The Centaur raced towards the top of the building, only to fall over the steps inside.
The other two then raced up the stairs, only to find a deserted roof top.
The Arctic barbarian looked over the edge of the south side of the roof, and was jumped by the Dark Knight who had been hanging there.
However, the hydromancer was quick enough in reacting that he killed the knight with a blast of water that knocked the knight from the roof.
The Hydromancer, who was wearing powerful Solamnic magic armour, and the Arctic Pyromancer with a ring of Feather Falling, jumped from the roof, knowing that they would not be harmed.
The Centaur then decided that she would do the same, despite the fact that her only magic item was the Dragonlance [not of Huma].
She broke all four legs, and it was lucky for her that the Hydromancer had Healing magic. He drew a pentagram around the centaur, and lit a few candles, and then chanted for a few hours.
This scared the centaur, who somehow thought that she could scare the hydromancer away by flashing.
At this point I feel I should point out a bloke played the centaur...
Anyway, after her legs were healed, the Solamnic Knights came and arrested her.
The party later sprang her from jail by melting the cell wall... and the centaur was quickly captured, although the other two had remained free, and even captured a suit of Solamnic plate.
In the process the two characters had persuaded the Solamnics chasing them that they were also knights...
When the centaur woke up, she was in a cell with an armour less Solamnic, who'd been made to look like a prisoner by the other two players, and who proceeded to knock the Centaur unconcious.
The players rapidly rescued the Centaur, and hurried for their ship in the dock, where their ship was sunk by a fleet of Dark Knight ships.
To compensate, the players were forced to steal a Dark Knight ship, before hurrying towards Dimernesti.
There, they were attacked by Brynseldimer the sea dragon, they managed to slay him, but not beore their ship was smashed in...
And so they retrieved the Crown of Tides.
And now comes the finale...
The Finale: Dragons of Apocalypse/New Age...
=============================================
Characters: One Pyromancer Arctic Barbarian, One Hydromancer, and later one Minotaur- Horn Ra-Kar...
The Pyromancer and Hydromancer journeyed to the Tower of Wayreth for their Tests of High Sorcery [which was played as an adventure.]
and faced much peril, and on severel occasions, nearly died...
However, they were triumphant, emerging with two powerful staves, and the Hydromancer had been Soulforged. His eyes are now completely black
and his skin is pale...a natural goth?
The party then returned to the Academy of Sorcery, hoping to learn where the ritual was taking place.
However, they found the place in ruins, a mere pile of rubble.
Overhead was a circling dragon. The Arctic mage used his stave of Command to befriend the Red Dragon.
The dragon aided them in digging out some items, before leading them to the ritual place, a large Nerakan Mountain surrounded by
armies...
On the way, the party suffered from much turbulence, and also picked up the Minotaur.
The party, upon arriving at the area, both dressed in Solamnic plate [although neither were knights]
decided it would be best if the minotaur tied them up, and that he should pretend to be a mercenary...
They eventually reached the top of the mountain, where they faced Khellendros, Malystryx, Onysablet, and Berylinthranox.
The events need not be told here, but suffice it that Khellendros was the sole survivor, and the ritual seems to have been carried out later...
Here ends the Chronicle of Dragons of a New Age, with the lands of Ansalon mostly free...
