You people playing ALiens in the ConPSIracy campaign are probably wondering
- What do the Aliens want, and what do they think?
Read on
The first thing to know is that they believe humans are savages.
This is because they are not viviparous, but 'bud' offspring to be
grown in vats. To them, the act of sex is a messy savage thing.
Read 'Brave New World' to understand this...
They also believe we are savages because we 'rape' the natural world.
We've covered earth in concrete, and we tear minerals from the centre.
All Grey technology is actually biological, grown in vats of nutrients
, with the items shaped by Aliens psionically changing them.
An example of this is their ships, which are actually living beings which
are heat resistant and have been grown with Solid 'Stomachs' to keep passengers
in...
Although the Greys do not actually collabarate with the government, but merely put about this myth, they
do seem to be willing to make deals with individuals in dark halls of power, making deals while the mundane humans sleep...
These individuals outside and inside the government often believe that the Greys will leave them in charge of the new order, or expect some other award.
The Greys, for their part, allow the humans their foolish pipe-dreams of ultimate power, wealth, and fame.
The point is, there are some conspiracys amongst the humans, for all players of aliens, keep this in mind...
Grey Technology
As has already been stated, Grey technology is biological in all forms.
As such, their weaponry and transport, despite appearaces, are always living creatures.
Some examples follow:
Electro-Cannon
Essentially looks like a reptilian dog, albeit with a slightly hardened skin,
resembling perhaps an armadillo's plating in some manners...
Electro-Cannons, or 'Spitter Dogs' as some unfortunate humans have come to call them,
can spit a 6D Lightning Bolt a distance of six hexes.
In addition, they have natural armour rating of 5DR versus cutting and impaling weapons.
However, they have no manipulators more sophisticated than paws, and they have a horizontal structure like a dog which hinders their attacks...
There is some evidence that they are sentient.
For those interested, a 'Spitter-Dog' would cost 90 points to play, using Fantasy Folk.
