Trust No One?





Hi, welcome to a campaign setting for GURPS. All you need is the Basic Set
although you can use Ultra-Tech and Aliens if you like.

I've constructed the setting to be flexible (i.e. there is no background,
just a brief summary, if you want me to write more, e mail me at the bottom)
- You can have the players be humans with weak PSI powers (none above power 6)
or you can have them play Alien Grays altered to look human...

Incidently, I reccommend 100 point campaigns- you want weak characters...

HUMANS:
Must have at least one Psi power (thats the point of the campaign...)
- Choose from ESP, Telepathy or Psychokinisis (although the last is not
nessecary, but players will eventually want to pick locks from a distance etc...)

Aliens:
Must have one (at least) Psi skill above 6, must have an unusual background
worth 20 points. They are the only psi users who can have psi higher than 6.
However, all ALIENS must take a -30 point Secret (they'd be killed if someone knew
WHAT they are...
They must also have a -40 point Enemy: The Government of whatever country they
are in, and representatives turn up on a roll of 9 or less.
Aliens are usually left on Earth to perform their mission (below), BUT
they can OPTIONALLY take their Alien government as a 50 point Patron...
30 points (The Alien Government)
10 points (supplies Hi tech equipment)
10 points (highly advanced compared to Earth)
0 points (turns up on roll of 9 or less)
50 points TOTAL.

The Aliens are on Earth to prepare for (you guessed), an INVASION.
Their job is to infiltrate the Legal and Government system and decrease
peoples faith in the institutions by making officials appear corrupt.
When humans rebel against the governments, they will be in chaos, and the
Aliens will be able to invade.

The governments have task forces devoted to covering up Alien influence
and to rooting out infiltrators.
The aliens try, in turn, to make this known to the public so that they believe
the government is selling them out to aliens and covering it up...

For ultra paranoia make the player party a mixture of both humans and aliens
Just dont let the humans know who the aliens are, and let the aliens know
who is what....
One side will be looking for the aliens, and the other will be sabotaging
everything in a way as SUBTLE as possible...
