Very cool site-like close to a million hits! Excellent layout and content and frequently updated. TONS of links on anything, everything Japan with complete Japanese and English version. Also check out their 100 general Japan sites section here.

3-D virtual environment chat in Japanese (requires download of client above). Want more Japan chat site links? Check here (English).

3. Worldwide Sushi Reference
Here's the low down on sushi restaurants around the world. Very extensive listings--here's the Georgia list as an example. Here's another sushi site, not nearly as extensive, but with a really cool name--The Raw Sushi Web Page (cool sushi background too!).

4. Tokyo Journal
English language Japan-based publication (mostly for foreign residents of Japan). Here's some of our other favourites: Kansai Time Out, Chubu Weekly Online.

5. Omiai??
Looking for a mate in Japan? Well here is a site devoted to "omiai", referring to "arranged marriage" in a much more modern day fashion. Here's another one too. Course, you have to be able to read Japanese (check number 7 for help).

6. Kids Web Japan
The latest greatest Japan link--for non-Japanese kids to learn about Japan (in English). Nice site with nice graphics!

7. How to use Japanese within English Windows.
This site tells it all, although my personal favourite is Unionway.

8. FM802 Funky Music Station:
All the biggest music hits from Osaka, Japan. Should be even better now with the launch of RealAudio version 3.0.

9. Clickable Map of Japan
For geographic stuff, this is also kind of interesting NTT Townpage for Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto (like a yellow pages for Japan in English)--search by name, category, or region. Also has maps.

10. Wired Japan
Ok, everyone knows this cool magazine right? Well here's the Japanese version. If you REALLY want the US version, you can get it here. (Rumor has it that Wired Japan is not updated very often, but, if you've never seen it, it's interesting reading the first time around).
