Mousse
Blind as a Bat
Mousse is also from Shampoo's village of Amazons. His fighting
style
is one of hidden weapons--his voluminous robes are filled with
daggers,
swords, yoyos, morningstars, and other assorted objects. He's
also as blind
as a bat, even with those glasses on. He is madly in love with
Shampoo--in
fact, he proposed to her when the two of them were three years
old. Unfortunately
for Mousse, he mistook a rock nearby for Shampoo. Displeased with
the mistake,
Shampoo turned him down with a foot to his face. He followed
Shampoo to
Japan the second time she came and now works at the Neko Hanten,
taking
care of all the dirty work and enduring heaps of insult and
injury from
Shampoo and Cologne. During Shampoo's trip to Jusenkyo, he tagged
along
and fell into the Spring of the Drowned Duck. As a duck, he can
still produce
numerous blades and throw them with excellent accuracy--somehow,
his eyesight
improves markedly as a duck. Mousse hates Ranma for stealing
Shampoo's
heart, even though Ranma doesn't feel the same about Shampoo, and
the two
are often seen fighting over Shampoo, with Mousse being the loser
of each
fight.
